Before this shop, it was Top Foods Snohomish or you had to take a drive to buy some good beer! SB&W is a new business that started a few months ago. It has a few fridges full of quality beers of better than normal selections from area distributors. Green Flash hoppy beers, Port mongo, abyss, double jack, etc. So Tyler, the owner, really is interested in focusing on quality and not simply buying all of the available products to simply have "variety." The wine selection is great and again... quality focused. Also he has a few beers on tap for samples and I believe they are going to start doing scheduled samples more often. From talking to them, it sounds like many of the locals are new to the craft beer scene so sampling is not focused on rare stuff but more on trading up from BMC. Like a few times people came in asking for pabst or miller, which i don't believe they carry still, and Tyler attempted to recommend other products that were similar. So the craft beer arm appears to be extending further and further out from Seattle. It really is exciting to see! Keep up the good work.

First visit over the weekend, and now have a new destination for visiting Snohomish.

Great tap selection, a significant selection of barrel aged beers, and fantastic food.

Got a bit loud when the place filled up to SRO, but not so unbearable that it was impossible to carry a conversation

Been here many times. Beer selection is full of high quality stuff. Food is standard upscale pub fare - really good quality.

Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant is/was also known as Snohomish Beer & Wine -- both signs are still on the building as of June 2014.

I had occasion to stop in here with a friend of mine for a consolation beer after his semi-pro football team lost a home game (go Snohomish Vikings!). We had to find a family-friendly place, as he had his kids with him. I must say I am very glad for this find.

Inside is all shiny wood fixtures with a dim yet clean atmosphere. Taps are prominently displayed in the taphouse half of the space, with a big electronic display indicating what's on tap. There were 28 taps on offer, including a couple of ciders. Styles ranged from sours (Rodenbach Grand Cru; Firestone Walker Agrestic) to imperial stouts to more sessionable beers. I went with the Agrestic and a Snoqualmie Hef; my buddy tried Southern Tier Creme Brulee for the first time.

Our waiter seemed to know the beer list pretty well and was able to make recommendations. Prices were quite good (local stuff was $4 a pint, specialty stuff $6-8); plus, they do growler fills of most of their offerings. We got there for the late-night menu and I had the black & bleu pizza which hit the spot. A great place all-around; I'll definitely be returning.

Rare that I was in Snohomish so BA'd this place...nice atmosphere inside. They had 2 double door coolers with beers ranging from GD to North Coast etc...had some BA Raspy sitting on top of some barrels along with BBQ.

Service was phenomenal; both dudes were great to talk to and they had probably 15 taps and they have growlers to go.

Didn't eat, but the food looked good from the menu perspective. There were a little pricey, but nothing to really complain about if you are in Snohomish looking for a good beer environment.

Been here several times...Tyler (the owner) s slowly, but surly working some excellent beer choices into his coolers--he's just needs to get some additional shelf space...but he's very open to suggestions and more than willing to order stuff.

He just got his license to serve pints on the premises and pour growlers. He currently has three taps, but is expanding to 9 in the next week or so. Also will open any bottle for a $1 corkage fee.

SB&W is a nice choice for us local folks and I hope he does well. If you're in the area, stop in and see what he's doing.

Update: 8/16/11.

SB&W has now expanded to 9 taps and is pouring growlers to go. Also serving some excellent panini sandwiches and light appetizers...plus you can sit outside on a sunny day and drink a cold one!
