Slightly hazy straw color with just some bubbles of white foam. Aroma has nice hoppy notes, mostly citrus fruits. You can tell from the aroma it's a tart beer. Taste starts somehow sweet right when the beer hits your tongue but gets quickly tart and lemony. The hops are also present, really fresh and grassy. Body is light with medium carbonation. Really fresh, hoppy, easy drinking berliner weisse.

A - cloudy, unfiltered yellow with no head. Almost looks like cloudy lemonade

S - lots of presumably cascade hops, some lacto in there and some sweet smelling citrus from the hops.

T - Starts very citrusy, sweet tropical fruit and ends with an almost sweet black current and tartness

M - quite carbonated but goes down very smooth and finishes crisp and sweet

I'm a bit skeptical when it comes to dry-hopped sours/sour IPAs, and though I don't think this nails it it's still quite enjoyable. Very tart, lacto sour, and actually some noticeable hoppage there. Lots of lemon yogurt, grapefruit juice, grassy+earthy tones. Goes a bit overboard with the puckering sourness/acidity but I do like the bite it brings. Very light, well-carbonated and refreshing. Would make a nice session sour if not for the acidity.

Served at cellar temperature from 330ml brown bottle into my classy Stella Chalice.

L) Very pale champagne colour, slight cloudiness, lots of small bubbles, again like champagne. Thin bubbly white head.

S) Cheap prosecco, some apple, maybe a bit of toffee. Definitely no hops.

T) Delicious fresh tartness, ends with just a hint of maltiness. Again, no hop notes.

F) Pleasantly fizzy, which is right for Berliner weisse. Light refreshing and the sourness is just right. Extremely drinkable, I could easily gulp it down in about 4 mouthfuls.

O) Very enjoyable sour beer, I am starting to really like them now. Not sure about the 'dry hopping' claim, it doesn't seem very hoppy but to be honest that hasn't detracted from my enjoyment of this one. Recommended.

Quite a poor offering from Buxton, this one never got close to reaching the heights of their Ace Edge that I tried last; far too much sourness for me. The dry-hopping mentioned on the label did have a positive effect on this one but it wasn't enough to turn it around & it's not one I'll be going back to in future.
