Collaboration with Omnipollo
“Yellow belly” — a person who is without courage, fortitude, or nerve; a coward.
To us, one of the most cowardly deeds is to act anonymously, hiding behind a group. A signifying trait of institutionalised racism.
This beer is brewed to celebrate all things new, open minded and progressive. A peanut butter biscuit stout with no biscuits, butter or nuts. Taste, enjoy, and don’t be prejudiced.

Bottle purchased at Nathaniel Square Corner Store in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a dark, deep, slightly oily looking black, with a very small mocha colored head, and no lacing.
The aroma leaps out of the glass, even without bringing it up to your face. Absolutely insane- heaps of roasty peanut butter- just the absolutely nuttiest and natural peanut butter you've ever seen, with some bitter dark chocolate, roasty earthy coffee, dark roasted malt, caramel, and butterscotch. It's unfathomable that a beer with this aroma could be brewed without peanut butter, or coffee, or chocolate, or any added flavorings. You serious Clark?
The taste is just as awesome. So much peanut butter here, with caramel syrup, freshly roasted coffee, hazelnut, pecans, roasted malt, toffee, butterscotch, and really bitter dark chocolate. This manages to stay balanced- it's not too sweet, as it's got some really nice bitter aspects to it. It's near perfect- truly one of the best stouts I've ever had. It manages to accomplish what Funky Buddha does so well- recreate a culinary item- in this case, a peanut butter biscuit. However, this surpasses that because it's not loaded with added flavoring. These flavors were accomplished with expert use of malts, hops, and yeast. I can't believe peanut butter is not added to this. It's nuts.
This is medium bodied, pretty thick and rich, but not the thickest or richest stout out there. Because of this however, it's pretty drinkable- the bottle went down fairly easily. The 11% ABV does not show itself here. You can't taste it, but you can definitely feel it- you feel nice and warm at the end.
A huge accomplishment from Buxton and Omnipollo, one of the most original stouts I've ever had. This is also brewing magic, as I stated above. I can't fathom how they managed to get these flavors into beer given the standard ingredients list. Bravo!

L: Pours a pitch black oily color with a almost no head or lacing.
S: Fresh peanut butter mixes with notes of sweet milk chocolate followed by a touch of biscuit and roasted malt, sweet but inviting sweet. The aroma definitely gets me excited
for the beer.
T: Smooth peanut mixes with a nice British biscuit, and sweet milk chocolate and roast malt, a nicely restrained sweetness with a touch of bitterness makes this beer very tasty.
F: Slick and oily larger body.
O: This beer is a nice change from the overly sweet pastry stouts, it sweet but it has other things to balance the sweetness, making a great dessert beer.

Pours a motor oil black with khaki colored head. Pancake batter like bubbles. Chocolate, vanilla, charred oak on the nose. Velvet mouthfeel and layers of bold and robust flavors. Death by chocolate. Overall - amazing brew that is world class

Poured moderately hard from a bottle into a snifter glass, forming a little bit of brown head around the edges before fading to a ring of lacing. Intense brown color, totally opaque. Smell is delicious biscuit with a hint of sweet peanut butter. Taste follows very closely, a good mix of mild biscuit, peanut butter, and some bourbon at the end. Medium bodied and very little carbonation. Super yummy and unique beer.

hate politics in my beer. so pervasive and unnecessary. but i suppose we ALL need to feel we need to blast our felings to the world.... as for the beer... typical omnipollo. thin. bland. drinkable, but just not 'exciting'... always taste like 'yesteryear's stout', as if they are finally caught up after chasing others' recipres.... not terrible but definitely not '97'. . . .
