Collaboration with Omnipollo

“Yellow belly” — a person who is without courage, fortitude, or nerve; a coward.

To us, one of the most cowardly deeds is to act anonymously, hiding behind a group. A signifying trait of institutionalised racism.

This beer is brewed to celebrate all things new, open minded and progressive. A peanut butter biscuit stout with no biscuits, butter or nuts. Taste, enjoy, and don’t be prejudiced.

Toasted nuts, Nutella, marshmallow, peanut butter, caramel... the nose on this is exceptional.

Taste follows suit. Thick, nutty, dessert-like qualities that I cannot get enough of.

Terrific stuff.

L: Pours a pitch black oily color with a almost no head or lacing.

S: Fresh peanut butter mixes with notes of sweet milk chocolate followed by a touch of biscuit and roasted malt, sweet but inviting sweet. The aroma definitely gets me excited
for the beer.

T: Smooth peanut mixes with a nice British biscuit, and sweet milk chocolate and roast malt, a nicely restrained sweetness with a touch of bitterness makes this beer very tasty.

F: Slick and oily larger body.

O: This beer is a nice change from the overly sweet pastry stouts, it sweet but it has other things to balance the sweetness, making a great dessert beer.

Pours a motor oil black with khaki colored head. Pancake batter like bubbles. Chocolate, vanilla, charred oak on the nose. Velvet mouthfeel and layers of bold and robust flavors. Death by chocolate. Overall - amazing brew that is world class

Poured moderately hard from a bottle into a snifter glass, forming a little bit of brown head around the edges before fading to a ring of lacing. Intense brown color, totally opaque. Smell is delicious biscuit with a hint of sweet peanut butter. Taste follows very closely, a good mix of mild biscuit, peanut butter, and some bourbon at the end. Medium bodied and very little carbonation. Super yummy and unique beer.

hate politics in my beer. so pervasive and unnecessary. but i suppose we ALL need to feel we need to blast our felings to the world.... as for the beer... typical omnipollo. thin. bland. drinkable, but just not 'exciting'... always taste like 'yesteryear's stout', as if they are finally caught up after chasing others' recipres.... not terrible but definitely not '97'. . . .
