Pitch black, almost no head
The smell and taste remind me of Prairie Bourbon Paradise or Jackie O's works on the bourbon side. The bourbon is pungeant and upfront. The chocolate and coffee are there. Some fainted esters are noted.
The quite high abv is very well hidden. Some sweetness balances the roasty bitterness.
Very thick and silky with a low carbonation.
Overall a classy BA Imperial Stout
