440ml Can from Oban, Scotland:
Jet black with a half centimetre, foamy brown head that's a little uneven on the surface but holds quite well. It's initially boozy with dark malts & chocolate, light smoked notes & oak at the end. It's similar tasting, dark malts & chocolate to start, a nice coffee bitterness then a subtle vanilla sweetness with the oak & smoked flavours finishing things off. It has quite a thick feel with moderate carbonation too, then turns a little boozy & warming at the end.
