Notes: One of Buxton Brewery's most iconic beers, now in a can!

This award winning strong India Pale Ale is full flavoured and has a beautiful hoppy aroma with a stunning blend of European, North American and New Zeland varieties.

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter via our friend from across the pond---Cheers Ian!
This English interpretation of a AIPA pours a nice and clear amber tinged yellow with a
nice head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thick layer, and displays some very nice
sudsy lacing. Nose of heavy pine, grapefruit, caramel and honey malts, and some grassy hops
as well. Flavors follow the nose with grassy and grapefruit ridden hops taking the fore with caramel
malts showing up in the middle of the taste with touches of honey and light biscuit, and then finishing
off with a rich resin heavy pine hop with a touch of lemon zest. Very nice mouth feel in the mode
with melding 2 styles with medium light carbonation that is just effervescent enough to give
this brew a lift, medium light body, and a rich resin heavy pine touched finish with citrus
notes on the aftertaste.

Overall, a SOLID little brew worthy of the Buxton name.

Nice

Cheers

Hazy, medium yellow pour with a moderate head. Aroma exceeds the taste. Surprisingly less bitter than expected. Dry finish. Decently crisp product.

On tap at les berthoms in Grenoble. Good Ipa with a big bitterness. Citrus flavor. A bit sweet but balanced. It's a bold beer but nothing over the top

Bottle... pale, golden, clear, white consistent foam... aromas of herbs, spices, pine, bitter orange... taste of high bitterness, resin, red fruits in a full body, slightly oily, average carbonation, a little bit astringent, long bitter finish

Pours a medium amber coloration with a medium creamy head. Smells mainly of citrus fruit and pine, with a hint of tropical fruits. Taste follows the nose with a strong grapefruit and pine presence with a hint of mango and passion fruit. Very nice dank hops and caramel malt balance, with the hops still clearly winning. Finishes with a medium to strong bitterness. Very nicely balanced IPA, but nothing out of the ordinary.
