Pours a cloudy and sedimenty-orange.

Smell is like a handful of those mixed fruit lollies crossed with a big dollop of pine. Lots of citrus fruits here. And bananas somehow too.

Taste has lots of citrus. Just really vibrant flavours. Mangoes, bunches of pungent fruit. Almost Surly-esque, but possibly better.

Mouthfeel carries more orchard-y flavours.

It's amazing how many fresh, fruity flavours are featured here. Reminds me of my first brush with Saison Dupont. Buxton just made US brewing its bitch.

Bottle... pale, golden, clear, white consistent foam... aromas of herbs, spices, pine, bitter orange... taste of high bitterness, resin, red fruits in a full body, slightly oily, average carbonation, a little bit astringent, long bitter finish

From the 330ml bottle, dated 03/12/17. Served in a pub glass.

Pours a cold-hazed, unfiltered tawny-gold with lots of fine carbonation and an enormous off-white, lush, pouffy head of suds. Retention is excellent, minor spotty lacing.

Sharp nose of fruity yeast and clean malty goodness, pears, lemons and leafy greens with only a minor, fairly inoffensive metallic tang.

Taste is thick, toasted malted barley with aggressive bittering, pear, lemon, tropical fruits, earthy pine and medicinal herbs. Well balanced, earthy, resinous, oily, drying, with a long, strong, clean bitter finish.

Feel is thick and malty, nicely carbonated, exceptionally easy drinking.

Overall, an uncomplicated but nicely brewed english-style-meets-american-style IPA with some of the best of each. I had to write my notes quickly because I wound up drinking it so fast.

A 330ml bottle brought from locally brought from Dunnels. Pours a hazy amber colour, with medium creamy white head and leaves lacing. Aromas is of mandarin, grapefruit, cereal, spicy hops with some floral and bready aromas. The taste has much of the same but also a malty caramel side followed by a spicy hopped bitterness in the finish.
