Pours a hazy, dark-orange colour. Smells mostly of earthy and citrus hops. Tastes slightly sweet, pale malts, mellow citrus hop, with bitterness throughout. Balanced, but quite bitter.

330ml bottle bought from McHughs, Dublin
Poured a light mahogany red colour with a brown tinge... Creamy tan head poured thick and foamy and faded to a nice thin layer...
Aroma - Nice bready malts followed by lots of citrusy hops, some roastiness, light caramel sweetness, earthy, brown sugar, faint trace of spicy rye, some floral notes, grassy hops, grapefruit fruitiness, some pine...
Taste - Lightly toasted malts followed by spicy rye notes, fresh bread, toffee, citrus fruits (oranges and grapefruits), piney and grassy hops, marmalade, slightly nutty...
Feel - Quite smooth with only a slight sharpness. Fairly drinkable for 7.8% as the alcohol is well hidden
Overall - A pretty good Rye beer.. recommended...

Lumpy crusting off-white amber. 4.25
Floral, resin, mango nose. 4
Lots of fresh apricot and caramel, then big fresh tangerine, maybe a touch of rye spice, then more fruit smooth and some resin. 4
White melon finish and ringing menthol linger.
Lt-med, hot, oily. 3.75
Fragrant enough but too little complexity for the ABV, hot, and a bit thin - can 8 Degrees not do high gravity? Vic Secret brings some dank and mint, but it stomps on the rye spice and Topaz fruit (unless Topaz is just not that strong?) Also sits oddly in their lineup - an unhappy medium between Simcoe + Hurricane.
Not 8 Degrees best.
