Poured a cloudy copper colour.

Smelled mostly of citrus and floral hops, with a hint of spiciness.

Tasted surprisingly malty, for an IPA, with mellow floral and citrus hops throughout. Doesn't taste like most American IPAs. Had a hint of pine at the end with a lingering bitterness.

Would suit non-IPA drinkers.

Would I buy it again? Yes.

Pours hazy copper with a large head.
Nose shows pine, spicy hops, fruit confectionery and sweet caramel-like malt.
Very intense flavours with big resinous and piny hops notes alongside a fair whack of caramel and sweet malt underneath.

On tap at Farrington's, Dublin.

Rusty amber with a snow white collar with lace.
Big mashed mango nose, with some resin and herb underneath.
Apricot up front with a bit of yellow plum, jam and caramel then resin, a bit of cat and Orangina for hops.
Pink grapefruit finish and orange rind linger.
Medium, oily, good chew.

Brewed with Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra; the American entry for Eight Degrees' #hopoff.

Solid, chunky IPA with lots of angles for the hop character - it's possible to trace all three varieties. Nice to see something with no C hops. Shapes of Sierra Nevada in balance and craftsmanship.

On bottle in Star Ferry, Lyon, France. Past the best by date. So not fresh at all. Still good but most on the bittering aide and lack on the aroma. Mostly peach and green tea. It's 5.8% and not 7%

L: Poured into my 8° glass had a medium to large head pours hazy amber in colour and has very little carbonation. Hope the flavour makes up for the lack of carbonation....

S: Smells of citrus fruits. Can tell this is going to be sour but hopefully not overpowering.

T: Wow this is nice. A huge lemon zing to it and very sour on first drink but becomes easier to consume the more you have.

F:Still cant get over the long lasting acidity on the cheaks and the lovely aftertaste. Very light and easy to consume with a sour aftertaste.

O: Another great beer from Eight Degrees kinda let down by the carbonation but makes up in taste :)

Had 330ml bottle in Eastern Seaboard on 1 February. It's 5.8% not 7% as listed here. This is an American style hop bomb to be really delivers. Fantastic citrus, grapefruit and pine flavours. Bitter aftertaste but not too bitter. I prefer American style IPAs and this is probably one of the best Irish ones around. A brilliant beer all round. Well done 8•
