All I know is that I like this beer. The hops were not over the top as I don't care for real hoppy beers. I enjoyed this one and look forward to drinking the rest if the 6 pack.

Pours a lovely clear gold with a foamy white head and lots of lace.
Aroma is cracker, spice, slight lemon and a touch of grassiness.
Taste is hop forward with spice, citrus and a touch of pine. Crackery malt with a finishing, bitter bite.
Mouth is medium and bubbly.

This interpretation of the Pilsener style is one I prefer.
Because Czech Pils tend to be too hoppier, I usually don't like the bitterness as their lager finishes.
But... Super Pils -- categorized in BA's German tradition -- finds the balance. To me, the mouth was pleasantly smooth and the 7.2% maltiness helped, too.

Full disclosure: Randy Mosher, one of the Deans of craft brewing, is a partner in this firm. This explains my Overall "buy" rating.

Hazy yellow. Aroma is wet grain and very ripe fruit. Flavor is similar to nose. I'm not too keen on pilsner's that lean on the sweet side. This beer isn't for me.

A - Nice golden colour, bright, soapy white head. Mild carbonation. Nice thick lace and good retention at a half finger.

S - Herby, noble, floral.

T - Grassy and light with some honey notes and some herbal qualities.

M - Nice bite to finish. Good medium body and good carbonation.

O/D - ABV hides itself well. Flavourful and classic. Nice pils.

I'm normally very disappointed with a pils brew. I read a compelling review and was in abar that carried it. It's also very close to the bar I'm in. It was bright fresh fruity refreshing, not flavors I normally seek. Will definitely look for again.

Fuck the haters: I really like this beer—and I'm not normally a big champion of 5 Rabbit's efforts (though I've been pleased with some of their weirder one-offs, like Ki'chun, and I like their overall profile and ethos). But Super Pils is a place where I think they've really hit their marks: big grain-fruity notes, a subtle yeasty funk, excellent strains of hay- and grass-premised hop notes, supremely sessionable despite its big abv and bigger esters and phenols. Equal turns juicy, grassy-bitter, banana-creamy, and surprisingly, sharply clean. Chicago does Imperial Pilsners right, and 5 Rabbit does right by that tradition.
