I'm normally very disappointed with a pils brew. I read a compelling review and was in abar that carried it. It's also very close to the bar I'm in. It was bright fresh fruity refreshing, not flavors I normally seek. Will definitely look for again.

Pours a lovely clear gold with a foamy white head and lots of lace.
Aroma is cracker, spice, slight lemon and a touch of grassiness.
Taste is hop forward with spice, citrus and a touch of pine. Crackery malt with a finishing, bitter bite.
Mouth is medium and bubbly.

This brew is a hazy dark yellow with some activity. It certainly looks the part of a pils, seemingly unfiltered with a well maintained off-white head. The island of foam sustained for the duration gives back lace in a ring at the top that's very thick, with patching and sporadic ringing for the continuation.
The nose doesn't exactly pour out, but this beer seems to fit. It's mainly floral with some grains showing, though refined and without any of the "unclean" aspects, so to speak. It's smooth particularly in the flavor. There are some sweeter notes seemingly from the impartation of a fruitiness in the yeast, and some malts on the dry side offer a touch of cracker. There's a good balance, as advertised, between hops and malts; for a German, though, it could use a little more bitterness and a general increase in the strength (not heaviness) particularly of aroma and, to a point, of flavor.
The body is light with a crisp, not-quite-effervescent froth on the palate. It's clean and has the brightness a pils should have.

Cloudy light amber with very little carbonation. Poured with hardly a head that quickly disappeared. Really not much to look at. Poor marks for that. But it did get better. Slight floral hop smell with a little more hop in taste. Easily drinkable with good finish. Tasted better than it looked. Not great. But certainly good.

Look: Crystal clear golden straw in color. Two fingers of rocky head with poor retention. No lacing. Medium carbonation.

Smell: Light German hops though not as metallic as many German hop profiles I've had in the past. A little Jolly Rancher/Hard Candy sweetness and fruity citrus. Bready malts.

Taste: Bread and hard candy like sweetness up front. Metallic bitterness finally comes out on the back end. Not boozy at all. Incredible for a 7.2% pils. The more you drink it the more it leaves a Lemon Jolly Rancher aftertaste.

Feel: Juicy acidity. Fairly creamy. Gets even creamier if you pour in the sediment, as well.

Overall: This beer has never disappointed. It is incredibly well balanced and has a ridiculous ABV. This is the binge beer for a good Netflix binge session. Watch Orange is the New Black and drink a sixer of these and wake up the next morning realizing you don't really remember the second half of the season. Now you get to go back and re-enjoy the second half of the season again!
