On tap at The Owl, served in a pint glass. Got the last pint apparently. Hazy orange body, compact layer of foam with minimal spotty lace.

Aroma is pure guava, wink wink, its a fairly restrained fruitiness, but really nice.

Taste is light and dry with some juicy passionfruit up front. Very easy drinking and sessionable, something different that would do well in six packs.

Finally a decent session fruit beer that isn't a shitty wheat beer with fruit extract.

12 oz. clear glass bottle, no bottled on date present. A new one to me from 5 Rabbit Cerveceria, acquired a single bottle of this oddity from the local beer store. Paletas Guyaba. "Wheat beer with guava and spices". 3.50% abv.

Poured into a miniature Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale snifter.

A - It looks like a strawberry-banana fruit juice in the bottle, and pours the same with about a finger of dense pinkish-white foam that sticks around for a while. Some minor bubbly white lacing sticks behind. Very unique and interesting appearance.

S - A fresh, fruity, funky, & authentic guava fruit aroma. Smells like a freshly prepared guava smoothie. A very minor herbal spice rack note is present when I look for it.

T - Tastes like what it is really, a carbonated fruit juice / beer blend. No real tartness or sour is present, but fresh & fruity, to be damn sure. Authentic guava fruit juice dominates, with minor notes of bread malts & yeast funk are present in the finish. Though the taste pales in comparison to the aroma, really.

M - A very smooth and easy-drinking beer. Light-bodied with good carbonation. Very easy-drinking stuff, but don't expect to catch a buzz. Very clean and dry on the palate. Gone in an instant, and it definitely has you craving another sip.

Overall, a unique beer creation from 5 Rabbit. I would definitely have multiple of these on a hot summer day, and I will be on the lookout for others.

Very good wheat beer, with a very refreshing guava taste.

On-tap at King's Table, Beavercreek, OH

A: The beer is ver hazy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a thin bright white head that died down but never completely faded away and left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of guava fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste is like a watered down version of guava juice but doesn't have any of the associated sweetness. The guava flavors seem a little weaker compared to the smell.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This one is pretty good for a guava beer as it isn't sweet or gimmicky. I just wish that the flavors could have been a little stronger.
