A - Pale golden body, thick cap of white head, small bubble lacing.
S - Primarily a bit of acidity, a note of hop funkiness, and a malt note of cracker.
T - An open of lemon and tea, with a mild middle, and a softly bitter finish.
M - Feel is relatively light, easily drinkable.
O - A traditional IPA that can serve nicely as a regular in my lineup.

10/11/20...pours mostly clear gold with a patch of white foam to top. Slight lacing nose of pine and resins. Grassy too. Smooth mellow malty flavor. Persistent bitter afterwards. Creamy. Nicely made.

Poured from a can into a tuiip. I've had the Cream Ale from this brewer and it was decent, so looking forward to it.
Pours slightly hazed medium gold. A nice foamy head that lingers well. Good lacing. Solid across the board.
Nice hop aromas are the star, with tropical, citrus, resinous, and herbal/grassy aromas all present. Hints of caramel malts take a pleasant back seat.
The brew has a present but measured caramel malt flavor on the tip of the tongue that is quickly balanced by citrus (grapefruit) and tropical (mango and pineapple) flavors. In midstream, grass and resin mix with white grape and pear. Grapefruit and pine close the show without any real booze presence. Although all of the flavors are a little on the restrained side, they are all distinct and very well-balanced.
The brew seems a shade light in body for the style, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's very drinkable for a brew that edges up closer to DIPA territory. Well carbonated, it has a drying but not crisp finish.
An extremely well-balanced drinkable IPA that is a welcome departure from the overly fruity or hazy offerings that pack the shelves. A shade more flavor would make this a spectacular brew. As is, its awfully damn good.

12oz can. My can says 6.8% - listed here at 7%
Tastes green, just like the color of the can. Very wet and hoppy. Hides the alcohol well. Smells like dank weed, kinda tastes like it as well
Castle Danger is maybe the best brewery going

This is a nice IPA. Has a very juicy fruity smell. Taste is similar to a hazy IPA. It's like a hybrid IPA really. Some really nice citrus notes in this. Unexpected for a Minnesotan IPA.

Taste test done 2018 with Soul Craft Space Truckin & LaCumbre Elevated: Mild fruit nose, translucent (unfiltered) golden hue, fine lacy head, medium mouthfeel & tongue / throat prickly carbonation; taste is hop forward with a dank tropical fruit & grassy background. Also, a bit of a perfume taste. Semi-dry with a bit of bitter quench for the finish. Some Azacca hops are used in this beer. I like this hop and they have pared it well in the recipe.

Appearance: Pours a hazy, medium orange and peachy, bronze color. A medium, spotty and bubbly, white head. SRM of 13. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple. I get a lot of orange gummy. Then quite a bit of airy floral and foresty quality. Yet it's sweet and juicy smelling. Sweet bread malts. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavor follows the nose. Lots of orange and grapefruit citrus. Quite a bit of pine and flower. A little perfumey. Finishes light and sweet. Not strong malt presence. Finishes rather dry, and not bitter either. Respectably dry and clean for being so orange-ish. (3.75)
Feel: Lighter-bodied. A little airy and juicy on the feel. Dry juice left on the palate. (3.50)
Compared to Jai Alai 8/14/20: Pours a lighter color. More orange citrus and less orange caramel aromas. A slightly lighter body and cleaner with a touch less flavor.
Overall: An very balanced IPA. It has great orange citrus, flavor with some forest quality. Yet, it's light, juicy, and dry and quite juicy A lot going on here. I don't get any of the Munich malts in here. Overall, pretty average. Nevertheless, it has great flavors as a local IPA worth grabbing. An all-around balanced IPA and par for the course. (Final Rating: 3.74)
