look: 2 | smell: 2.5 | taste: 2.75 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3

Format: a clear 330mL bottle with a cheap transluscent macro label. Looks okay for a macro light - they all look the same.

Appearance: a very light yellow body which looks extremely watery. A limited white head drops away pretty quickly. Not a good start.

Aroma: smells of cheap grain, adjuncts and a hint of metal.

Taste: similar cheap grains and adjuncts, with a stronger flavour of metallic carbonation. At least it is much fuller in flavour than most lights.

Aftertaste: a fairly awkward sour bitterness on the finish that leaves a little to be desired.

Mouth feel: light in body, but certainly a heck of a lot better than the appearance would indicate. Goes down pretty easy, with a good carbonation.

Overall: this is a pretty average light beer - nothing to be massively proud of but no worse than a whole bunch of other macro lights. Where it differs is the price, at AU$26 a case of 24. An amazing price, but as it is new to the market I'll just assume this is aggressive penetration pricing.

a clear pale amber colour with a one-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly. Aroma of grain and light malt is typical of a lager. sweetness and a Wet cardboard taste. light watery body. Smooth, light, crisp.

look: 3.5 | smell: 2.5 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 2 | overall: 2.5

Appearance - 3.5
Pours a thumb of white foam head that slowly receded over a body of clear, deep brassy gold. Decent head retention and a little lacing.

Smell - 2.5
Slightly sweetness that reminds of candy, weak grain and no hop aroma.

Taste - 2.5
In a beer so light and low in flavour there is nowhere to hide the off tastes - there are none here, it is a well made beer. Vague graininess, slight note of sulfur, a hint of metal, a little sugar sweetness and almost no perceptible bitterness. Not unpleasant, but I'd prefer water.

Mouthfeel - 2.0
Thin and watery as is expected with the style, moderately carbonated.

Overall - 2.5
One of the better low alcohol lagers available. Definitely not for real beer drinkers - if you want something low in alcohol, go for an English Mild or an Ordinary Bitter.
