Look is okay--its unfiltered and lacks much of a head. Smell doesn't do much except indicate there is indeed alcohol in this beverage. Taste isn't special either--a normal light wheat beer with a bit of booziness in the middle. Feel is light--right where a wheat beer should be. That's its saving grace: it feels nice if you're not looking for taste. It does what it's supposed to do, but there's no reason to go out of your way to get it.

I like the can artwork, great use of color. The pour is yellow. The taste is wheat with faint citrus. The taste is lackluster for a wheat beer, it can use some more ump-hf. Cheers! C

This was one of the first beers I tried as an adult that wasn't a domestic type brew. So my opinion may be biased, but I also have a particular palette for beers and ales.

Look: It has a deep golden tone, and a short but hearty head about 4 or 5mm. It bubbles mildly as it sits in its glass, or, nearly any head at all in its bottle. It usually comes in a brown glass bottle in 6 or 12 packs of 12 ounce bottles, and from first observation you'll onserve a 2mm film/residue at the bottom of the bottle, being that it's an unfiltered beer. On tap or poured you'll also note the unfiltered portions floating about. This is normal for this light ale. (Note: In bottles, if you tilt the bottle upside down and over a few times before popping the top you'll easily emulsify all the residue, then take a moment to let the carbon int the bottle to rest before opening. The residue is just the unfiltered portions composed mostly from deactivated yeast, and wheat/barley)

Smell: Smelling this beer is a treat if you love citrus. It has a strong scent of orange with a whisper of bread or leavened wheat grain. You'll also recognize the mild aroma of coriander. All together it has a light-sweet, fruity, and pleasant aroma.

Taste: The moment this easy going ale touches my palate I'm in heaven. As a beer connoisseur, I personally delight myself with a heavy wheaty ale and I tend to go for a more bold medium hopped IPA (i.e. Sierra Nevada, Redtail IPA), and usually stick with those styles of beers. But sometimes I truly have to step it down a notch, kick away the bitterness and chill out. This light ale is easy on on your taste buds but is also rich with a fruity and spiced twist. The citrus isn't "too" heavy but it does contain a decent amount of acid, giving it that orange flavor and may upset/iritate people sensitive to citric acid. The remaining flavor is completmented with more of a malted barley and wheat taste, giving it that bread body I mention earlier in regards to smell.

Feel: If you take a full drink you'll find yourself experiencing a cool refreshing and surprisingly clean downwash. This beer is smooth, and is easy to drink with a meal. It's not a heavy beer, it's more of a crisp, almost lager type ale that goes down easy.
It is sort of sweet so after a few drinks you notice a slight stickiness on your mouth and lips, and is slightly heavy after it dries compared to other light ales or lagers. It definitely in my opinion is light, but not in the sense of alcohol but more in regards of bitterness and solidity. Anyway, it goes down smooth and has a simple texture.

Overall: I give this beer 4.5 out 5. Remember this is the first non-craft beer I've ever had, but it still holds deer to me. It's one of those drinks that I always have to go back to. It's citrusy, wheat, slightly spiced, as very crisp.
Also, for those that love to cook with beer, this one is amazing at trying out new Hawaiian and Polynesian recipes. It goes good with pork and beef alike, and I recommend using pineapple juice and chunks.

Very refreshing beer, best to drink after a surf session.
Not too strong, good with a cold meal like a tomato and mozarella salad.

12oz bottle poured into Duvel tulip. Picked up from the grocery store for $2.50. No discernible date anywhere, but some cryptic numbers printed on the bottom of the bottle.

Appearance - Pours a very large white medium-fine soapy head with good to great retention, patchy irregular lacing with decent stick. Pale gold body so hazy it's virtually opaque. 4.5

Smell - Typical witbier smells, though a bit toned down. Along with some corn. Noticeable alcohol. A bit understated. 3

Taste - Typical witbier taste with some light corn and spices. Perhaps even a bit thinner than a typical witbier. But pleasant. 4.5

Mouthfeel - Crisp and sudsy up front with a light-medium body and a clean, refreshing finish. The bottle self describes as 'full-bodied' but this is really medium bodied at most, to me. 4.75

Overall - Sum is better than its parts. Very drinkable. Refreshing, clean, easy. This really is a near perfect beer in regards to drinkability. It's light without being boring. It's interesting without being overpowering. No off characteristics. 5
