I like the unfiltered slightly cloudy appearance but would have hoped for more hoppy vs. mild aroma. Wonderful bold malty sweet tangy flavors up front that linger into contrasting resiny citrusy hop flavors. Mouthfeel and flavor is surprisingly big for the ABV.

Appearance: Pours a deep amber color with a bright white, fairly rententive foam head. Leaves behind some sticky lacing.
Aroma: Citrus, caramel malts. A slight touch of pine.
Taste: Orange and citrus peel, balanced with sweet caramel malts. A nice lingering bitter grapefruit finish.
Overall: A well balanced double IPA.

On tap at World Of Beer into snifter. Pours crystal clear deep golden/orange/amber color with a small dense and rocky off white head with great retention. Great spotty soapy lacing on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wood, cracker, toast, light caramel, herbal, floral, grass. Large sized pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body. Balanced bready malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate drying resins with no astringency. Minimal warming 8.7%. Loved the Cascade, Centennial, Crystal, Chinook and Citra hops. Very classic tasting and dank/vibrant DIPA. Loved it.

Pours a slightly cloudy pale gold, off white head fades but leaves some lacing. Citrus gets to the snot locker quickly, flavors are more pronounced than the aroma, medium bodied, pretty solid beer.

On-tap at Lake Tahoe AleWorX Stateline, Stateline, NV
A: The beer is hazy amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of orange citrus are present in the nose along with hints of caramel malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of orange and grapefruit citrus along with hints of caramel hops. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness. The flavors of grapefruit linger into the finish.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Imperial IPA has nice flavors of orange and grapefruit. It hides its alcohol very well.
Serving type: on-tap
