12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of watermelon with hints of wheat. Sweet watermelon flavor, but not over done. Not much in the way of beer-like flavors.

This is literally my favorite beer. They only have it on tap in restaurants in Kansas City, but Im trying to see if any of the stores can get the cans or bottles. I love that it tastes like beer but has a very natural watermelon flavor to it. I cant say enough good things about this beer. Its fantastic.

Amber with thick white head and lots of lacing. Warm, light, watermelon smell. The flavor is wheaty, slightly malty and bready, dry real-watermelon. I feel it could benefit from a bit of sweetness...it feels very empty without it. It's moderately bitter in a very dry way but without much in the way of hop flavors.

Great watermelon taste with a respectable alcohol content for a fruit beer.

A thanks to the reigning champion of canned beer, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is unusual, wheat, light watermelon, hints of gasoline. Taste is malts, wheat, some watermelon, a bit bland but refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is ok, but nothing special.

Straw yellow a little cloudy with maybe even a tinge of red head is real light a fair amount of leasing on the glass smell is pretty good but one taste and you can tell this Falls far short of what you might expect. The watermelon is not a good flavor, I tend to be more of a fan of orange and citrus I guess nice Sanford but just fall short of what my expectations were.

22oz bottle - I'm having watermelon with dinner tonight, so this is a nice preview, as such.

This beer pours a hazy, pale golden amber colour, with a near-teeming tower of puffy, rocky, and bubbly ecru head, which leaves some rather loose Swiss cheese pattern lace around the glass as it slowly but evenly recedes.

It smells of musty watermelon rind, bready and doughy caramel malt, a bit of buttered toast, simple syrup, and a touch of musky yeastiness. The taste is grainy and bready caramel malt, a lesser wan wheatiness, muddled citrus, candied watermelon, and cantaloupe notes, dead yeast cells, more buttery nothingness, and a hint of earthy, weedy, and floral verdant hoppiness.

The carbonation is quite mild in its insouciant frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and generally smooth, yet with a weak clamminess worming its way in as things move along here. It finishes off-dry, the mixed melon fruitiness and lingering sugary wheat cereal making for a strange atemporal experience.

Overall, this is a decent enough attempt at melding watermelon into the brewing process - I've only ever seen it be moderately successful in a couple of previous instances. So, as expected, the guest fruit gets somewhat lost in the mire of an already timid wheat ale, and isn't really as refreshing as one might have been anticipating.

Pours a cloudy maize color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of strong and distinct watermelon, sweet malt, hint of hop, and slight floral notes. Fits the style of a Fruit / Vegetable Beer. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong and distinct watermelon, sweet malt, hint of hop, pale malt, hint of earthiness, and slight floral notes. Overall, weak appearance, watermelon is clear and dominates both aroma and body. There is still somewhat of a balance, so not simply a watermelon juice.
