This place is weird. The menu only had one item that looked good to me, however that one dish was very tasty. The decor is awful, sorry there's just no other way to say it; trippy paintings of John Wayne and Chrysler hubcaps in the bathroom? What the fuck. As far as service goes, when I order a pale ale, don't fucking ask me in a condescending tone, "have you had that before? It's pretty bitter." What the fuck.

Quiet late lunch. Great service. Decent selection -about a dozen taps, more in cans and bottles. Food bland but reasonable prices. In a strip mall. If I lived walking distance, I'd be here all the time. But I live in Austin.

This is the best beer-focused restaurant in the Cypress area, as of 2013.

The beer list is not long, but it's well focused on local craft breweries.

The staff is friendly and helpful.
It's got a family atmosphere in a big open space.
I enjoy the burgers and fries, as well.

Definitely could use more taps and need to expand their bar. They really tune in to local breweries, such as Karbach. Staff is very friendly and service is great! Owner is approachable and very knowledgeable. Love the 'bottle share' nights. Oh, and the coleslaw is the bomb.

The women that own this bar&grill seem to really care about craft beer and they know what they are talking about. From the outside you would not think this is anything more than the run of the mill bar with all the BMC on tap that the rest of them have, but once you get inside and take a look at the tap selection and the beer menu you will notice this is not your regular watering hole. There are 11 rotating taps full of some fine craft brews. In fact tonight (1/13/12) they tapped a keg of St Arnold Bourbon Barrel Stout, certainly one of my favorites. Apart from the owners, don't ask too much of the servers on staff to pair anything for you. The bottle selection is very good for outside the loop where the selection seems to favor the BMC. The food is nothing short of typical pub fare, but it is good at a decent price.

This is a nice little bar that has a good thing going for. There have been others with this concept and some have not done so well. Here is hoping that the Cypress area can help keep this one open for a long time.

An unassuming, unpretentious beer bar in the Cypress/North Houston area. Right next door to a god awful sports bar in the same shopping complex. Basically, it is just an open room with a small metal bar to the left. Some wood tables scattered about the area. A few TV's are turned to sports, but the sound is off, and music is playing low. A nice relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, if a bit sterile.

The service is fine for the most part. Maybe a little to friendly if there is such a thing. Not a complaint at all. They are enthusiastic about the different craft options they have.

The food is average. The burgers can be great, and can be mediocre depending on who is in the kitchen. Other than that some simple pub grub. The food would be great if it was more consistent.

The selection is very good. No BMC in sight. They have 11 craft taps. Not everything is great, some Abita, Widmer, and Magic Hat. It is good to see those as the duds. Though everything rotates. Rogue, Stone, DFH. The only place outside of Katy to carry No Label so far. Real Ale, Independence, Southern Star, and Saint Arnold. You would be surprised at some things they get. As well as a cooler of 100+ craft bottles.

Overall a great little bar on the North side of Houston. They have a good thing going, and care about craft beer. If on this side of town, stop by and grab a beer.
