Poured from a 12oz can into a pint glass. The beer's color is clear amber with 2 fingers of white foam with good retention.
The aroma is low in intensity. The aroma has some crackery malt, an earthy smell and spicy hops. It smells like ingredients of good quality were used.
The strength of flavor is slightly above medium. The flavor has bread, an earthy flavor, grassy-spicy hops with a medium level of bitterness. There's a slight mineral flavor.
The feel is slightly more than medium which is how I like this style to be. Carbonation is low. Astringency is low approaching medium.
Overall, it's very good. It was refreshing to pour a glass of this after work on a hot day in Texas.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance- The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a smaller level of retention, fading slowly over time to leave a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of a very bready and doughy smell mixed with aromas of pretzels and yeast. Along with these smells comes notes of a little bit of must and a touch of hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a slightly grainy and crackery taste that has a touch of yeastiness as well as a hint of saltiness (again I get pretzel like flavors as depicted in the nose). As the taste advances some very light dank hop tastes of an earthy and herbal nature come to the tongue and with a slight decrease in some light caramel that was upfront, and an increase in the pretzel like flavors of the brew, one is left with a slightly drier and more malty (for a 4.5 % abv. brew) taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness with a higher carbonation. The medium thickness and chewiness actually compliment the bready and pretzel flavors of the brew well, all while the higher carbonation does well for the style and lower abv.
Overall – A rather enjoyable and flavorful more session style brew. If only I had some pretzels to go along with this one…

Pours a slightly hazy light yellow color with a small carbonated head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is good. Aroma of biscuits and bread standard for lager yeasts. There is a mild citrus character to it. Hop forward citrus taste with breadiness and biscuity malts at the end. Crisp and clean with mild bitterness. Light bodied with heavy carbonation. I will say it is one of the better lagers I have tried.

i liked this one better than the ratings on tap here. its almost an ipl, with a real appreciably citrus fruit hop character that marries well with the lager yeast in it. the beer is real blonde and real clear, glowing and showing a good inch of snow white head on top. hops are equal with the yeast in the nose, but in the taste they are dominant. minimally bitter, but citrusy and juicy in their nature, and well delivered by a real pale malt base that has a faint hint of sweetness. lager yeast cleans everything up but the hops, which linger for a moment on the finish. as basic yellow lagers go, this is overly hoppy by most standards, but as the ipl is concerned, i think its really well done. nice craftsmanship and something i could have several of happily.
