This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a soft light yellow color with a fair transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Flimsy white head quickly died off. Not much lace. The aroma had some sweet freshly cut grassy notes, light lemon, some sweet corn. The flavor was sweet through the previously mentioned aromas to arrange as I expected in the aftertaste and finish. The feel was light bodied with a great crushability about it. ABV felt as projected. Overall, pretty nicely done blonde ale.

the Peacemaker is my sessioner of choice, especially around here in ATX
it's yellow gold body with an excited white champagne-bubble head goes smooth and slightly dry after dipping a toe in floral hops and focusing on a zest/citrus and bready malt sweetness. not wildly sweet, mind you, but enough to notice, and even more noticed when it dips into it's hop notes.
it's a hometown hero, and those that know nod to one another in silent approval over leaving the "name only" Lonestar behind the bar.

Pours a clear, golden copper in color with a thin amount of foam atop. Carbonation looks average. Some lacing as you drink. Aroma is roasted grains, sweet corn, caramel and floral, grassy, soapy hops. There are some off-aromas in there that are earthy, herbal. Flavor follows the nose pretty well. Very bitter and grassy with a sweet, light malt backbone. Finishes crisp, bitter and grassy. Mouthfeel is light with lively carbonation, a bit thin. Pretty drinkable, although bitter. Overall this is a pretty one-dimensional brew, it is reminiscent of a pilsener, but has a much stronger overall flavor and bitterness. While they categorize it as an "Anytime Ale", it seems to be under the "Blonde Ale" category on here. Feels more like a hybrid between a Blonde Ale and a Pilsener to me. Not exactly my cup of tea, but it's not bad either (full disclosure: Blonde Ales are one of my least favorite categories). Middle of the road brew. I would not be offended if offered one, but would probably not seek it out myself. Cheers!

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance- The beer is served a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades very fast and leaves one with a tiny bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is lighter overall with some lighter notes of a bready smell as well some notes of a grassy and hay smell. Along with these smells comes a little yeast and a touch of fruit.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and light wheaty taste along with some light yeasty tastes as well as a bit of grass and yeast. Along with these tastes comes a little bit of a grainy taste as well as a touch of spice and hay. These flavors take the taste to the end where they are joined by light cardboard and paper taste to leave one with a sorta off taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is rather low. The feel is not bad, but not the best for the flavor profile, and is just OK.
Overall – Not the best blond out there. Not offensive, but not that great either…

CAN:

A hum-ho ale that tries to appeal to all but actually appeals to few. Indistinct hop profile, underwhelming depth of flavour, below average flavour intensity.

I'd sooner buy Ballantine XXX, but this is drinkable.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass glass. A bit disappointing.

Clear yellow with fading head and lacing. Subdued smell, slightly sweet. Taste slightly bitter. It seems a beer that does not know where to go, but is fairly good with food.

A bit too light and hoppy for my taste. Would probably be a good summer afternoon beer.

i am surprised to see this beer rated as poorly as it is, i found it amazingly refreshing, light and drinkable but still hoppy, pretty true to the extra pale style, and dry and well carbonated which is such a nice combination to combat the texas humidity and heat this time of year, whats not to like? very light body, crackery and crisp and almost lagered to me, which leaves a lot of room for the citrusy hops later on, meyer lemon and zesty characteristics, with a clean and not too bitter complexion at the end, and then just done, so dry and instant, a real disappearing act. unlike some of their others, this doesnt warm up real well, which might account for some of the lower ratings, lots of warm beer consumed in texas i have to imagine, so hot this time of year. in any event, i found this incredibly easy drinking and refreshing, and i actually thought it was one of the better cans we had from these guys on our texas trip. has elements of a hoppy lager, elements of the session ipa style, it just works.

Much lighter than I'd expected it's a pale light yellow more akin to something out of a 'team can.' Decent white head with lacy loopy froth and decent retention.

Nose is definitely a hill country thing with an almost murky note -- you can almost smell the humidity. There's also some biscuity malts and light grassy hops in there as well.

Sure, there's some flavour there, but it sure doesn't stick around. Those same malts lead off, again with a token nod to some grassy hops in there somewhere, but overall this just isn't providing much to distinguish it. It doesn't need to be a volcano of flavours to excite: there's plenty of room for mellow easy drinking afternoon delights, but even in that arena I find myself just feeling... meh.

Prickly carbonation and an easy drinking body, sure, but I just don't really find myself compelled to drink more of it. Oh well. They can't all be winners!

Pale gold (4) pour with white head; decent cap retention; moderate lace; excellent clarity. Baked bread and floral nose. Baked bread and slightly herbal tongue. Moderate plus carbonation with zippy lite mouthfeel. Not much here other than lite floral hops. Easy drinking.
