pours a clear yellow with about a finger of terribly uneven white head which disappeared so fast it was gone by the time it got handed to me.

smell: astringent. straight up giving it a 2 was generous.

taste: ultra dry astringent/chlorophyll assaults your tongue, followed by a malt flavor that can only be described as corny, and dare i say...BMCesque. this beers flavor is two-sided and both were a miss for me.

mouthfeel: smooth enough, and although my mouth is left initially coated, i can feel it drying out very rapidly.

overall: i am glad i tried the fire eagle first. if i would have chose this first, i might not have gone back for another of their beers.

i hate for this beer to have a negative first review, but i am being honest. hopefully someone out there really enjoys this brew and will review it.

(I think this should be classified as an American Pale Ale, not an English Pale Mild Ale as it is listed on this site.)

Drank from a can at the The Common Table.

The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of grass and orange citrus hops with a little bit of bread and biscuit malt. The flavor is more of the same, with some juicy orange citrus notes coming from the hops. The bitterness is fairly low and the beer is well balanced. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice beer overall.

A pretty good sized off white head settles into a decent lacing above a clear straw golden colored beer.

A subdued aroma of light grain malts and even lighter hops notes with a light yeastiness.

A light almost sour grain taste with some light bitterness from the hops sneaking in.

A light dryish aftertaste with some hops notes on this light bodied beer.

Pretty disappointed in this beer, it seems that they are trying to make a mass market lager with a craft beer price tag.

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a soft light yellow color with a fair transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Flimsy white head quickly died off. Not much lace. The aroma had some sweet freshly cut grassy notes, light lemon, some sweet corn. The flavor was sweet through the previously mentioned aromas to arrange as I expected in the aftertaste and finish. The feel was light bodied with a great crushability about it. ABV felt as projected. Overall, pretty nicely done blonde ale.
