Had on tap at the hotel.

Pours a pale golden colour with a huge amount of haze in the brew. Head was great, now sunk to a thin film but leaves nice specks of cream lace. Bead is quite fast. Looks slightly odd for a pale ale. Looks quite hefe-esque. But alright.

Nose is very sweet - lots of fruit, with candied orange peel, mandarin and some orange sherbet. Maybe some lemon myrtle - definitely that tartaric tang smell. Mostly sweet, would definitely like more hop character, or at least something to tone down the sweetness.

Tastes quite tangy, with a lot of citrus and sherbet. Slightly tart, hints of orange, lemon myrtle and yeah, large tartaric flavour. Goes slightly wet-sour, in a weak lemon squash kind of way, on the mid-palate and leave very dry, while mouthfeel overall is quite nicely textured. I just get a lot of weak citrus on that, not much complexity - a bit of a disappointment really. Needs more hop and more flavour in general.

Not bad drinking all up, just don't get a lot of my favourite beer character from it.
