A: The beer is quite hazy light yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of guava are present in the nose.
T: From start to finish, the taste of this beer is dominated by flavors of guava fruit with just some hints of mangos and a very light amount of sourness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and faintly tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very refreshing and would make for a good selection on a hot summer day.

Had on tap at Nationals Park (a fruited sour at the ballpark? awesome!). Tastes like a kettle-soured ale with a touch of wheat and nice mango and guava flavor. Not overly complex but very good for what it is.

I probably should not rate this beer since I am not a fan of sour beers. I have tried a few and none of them appealed to me. I was given this beer so I thought I would give it a chance. Not my thing.

I see from the ratings that this must be a pretty good beer so you should disregard my rating and comments.

Can dated 8/1:
Pours a hazy pale gold, that while not completely clear, is not that preventive of light. A nice white cap forms on pour, but leaves completely if left alone. A swirl produces a little rush of bubbles at the edges.

Nose has the sour of the "wild" side, a light wine vinegar note, and the tropical aromas from the added fruits (I get the guava a bit more than the mango).

Taste start with a little puckering sour and even a little tingle from carbonation that doesn't last. The feel goes away, and the sour gets tamed to tart as the tropical fruits start to enter the picture. These do not overcome the sour/tart line of the taste, but play alongside it (here I do get the mango a bit more than the smell). There is an ever so slight bitterness just at the end - a faint herbal aspect as if someone waved a bouquet across the beer.

An enjoyable, multi-faceted but not overly complex beer that could be a stepping stone to the more classic sours out there. It's sour enough with a hint of vinegar, and the fruits add a nice accompaniment.

This beer is out of control good. I am hard on 3 Stars, but this is their best offering yet (including Ricky Rose). Reminds me of a Wakefield Florida Weiss, assertive acidity more than balanced by a huge tropical fruit flavor. Try this at all costs.
