Had from a can - photo needs updating!
So, the bacon images on the can don't really contribute anything to this beer. Even thinking about bacon, I get nothing. However, I'm sure it pairs really well with bacon. Onto the deets:

Practically no head, so down mark on looks.
Smell is mildly yeasty and sweet. Very mild spring smells - are those hops? I'm unsure that this beer has hops. No smokiness.
Taste has no off flavors - no sour notes. chocolate, buttery, sweet finish. An after flavor of a chocolate/maple candy without much bitter. Very little, if any, smokiness.
Mouthfeel is thin but remarkably well paired to flavor - if it wasn't so dry the finish on the taste probably would not be so pleasing.
Overall a really good result. I enjoy this as much as the Starsky & Dutch and I wouldn't be able to pick between them. Both are really excellent.

Appearance-doesn't really matter, but I prefer a denser head on a stout, and this one had no head at all really.

Smell- Smoke above all. Hints of roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate.

Taste- Smokiness is first and foremost. Some coffee and chocolate as it goes down. Not much in the way of maple. The coffee is different than the normal coffee flavor you get in most coffee beers. It is more like break room coffee. Burnt. Similar to the flavor from Narragansett Autocrat. Not a bad tasting beer, but not what it purports to be.

Mouthfeel- Thin for a stout. Really thin.

Overall-Mediocre stout. I would recommend seeking out easier to find and cheaper breakfast stouts.

L — Pours a surprisingly light shade of black that easily allows light to pass through. No retention or lacing
S — Smoke, bacon, roasted nuts, coffee, hint of milk chocolate
T — Very nutty and smokey upfront. Touch of cacao powder, maple, and lightly roasted barley
F — Remarkably thin and watery given the ABV and the style. Medium mouthfeel, medium carb. The coffee character is stale
O — Really disappointed with this one. Costs ~$4/can and has the aromas, flavors, and mouthfeel of a watery porter, despite being 8.5%.
