Growler into pint glass. Pours a surprisingly pale amber with a modest off-white head. Initial impression shows that appearances can be deceptive, though: grapefruit, resin, orange, and lemon are front and center, and the mouthfeel is considerably heftier than I would have guesed from the visuals. Finish is pine resin and citrus, with a little bit of booze evident. Overall, a pretty good DIPA but not an exceptional one.

16 oz can into stemless wine glass. No date on can.
Look is nice hazy yellow. Smell is tart citrus, lemon and grass. Taste follows nose and is a little different, slight booze at end. Feel is medium. Overall, an interesting DIPA, not a juice bomb but interesting flavors going on.

Must have done another batch, cause this can is dated 05/20/19
Slightly hazy yellow, big white head. Pretty good retention, spotty lace
Big aroma! Lemon, orange, a little bit of mango, grassy.
More tropical hops in the flavor, still on the grassy side. Light graininess. Booze comes through. Not as crisp as I like.
A little heavy, a little hot, and it could use more carbonation.
Not my favorite.

16 oz can from Beers and Cheers Too in Gaithersburg. Nose is heavy with medicinal and herbal hops with minimal balance. Similar flavor in the taste, with some pine resin notes as well. Kind of restrained and mellow in the finish with some mildly tempering malt flavors. Overall, if you like DIPAs, you should give this a try.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is dank, some citrus. Taste is dank, lots of resin, some citrus, a touch spicy, significant bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a quality beer worth trying.
