Steel Reserve (Alloy Series) Spiked Limeade brewed by Steel Brewing Company, with an ABV of 8.00% This brew pours out a lime green color with a faint head. The head to this brew goes away fast. This brew looks like Mountain Dew, not saying that is a bad thing. I give it this, it is different. The smell of Steel Reserve (Alloy Series) Spiked Limeade is sweet with lime flavors and alcohol. No malts or grains or hops, just lime flavor sweetness. Now for the taste, it is sweet and sour with lime flavors. This brew goes down like soda or pop, not saying that is a bad thing or anything. For what it is worth there is nothing horrible about this brew, it really drinkable. If you are a fan of lime flavored drinks look this one up. The mouth feel of Steel Reserve (Alloy Series) Spiked Limeade is , Sweet, clean and refreshing. I would recommend to drink this brew ICE cold. Overall I'm giving Steel Reserve (Alloy Series) Spiked Limeade a 4 out of 5 . I would buy this brew again on a hot summer day and drink it ice cold. Steel Brewing Company, did a decent job with this brew. We all know this is high end brew, but every brew has its day. This was an enjoyable drinking brew, for its style.

I'm actually a big fan of flavored beers and as a result, I've had alot of experience with different flavored beers and other flavored alcohol, the Steel Reserve Alloy Series is among the best out there for the "gas station" flavored beers. The Spiked Limeade has an aroma that, honestly, isn't the most pleasant on the nose, however it actually tastes very nice and refreshing, I find it to be perfect after working all day in the sun, or just after some yard work. Sweeter than similar flavored beers, such as Bud Lite Lime, and certainly stronger, but enjoyable nonetheless, for under $2.00, it's hard to beat.

Bought a single 24-ounce can from Hy-Vee for just $1.89. Can chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to handled-glass steins and shared with a great friend this past Monday evening on 4/4/16.

Pours just like a Limeade as smells like one also. No head to speak of and same with the lacing. Taste follows the nose and with a 8% ABV kick but didn't taste boozy. Lighter-side of medium-bodied with good carbonation. Would be a great and cheap summer brew if you want something different. Overall, I liked it and you can't beat the price.

Appearance: Modestly hazy pale green in color, with a small white head, which collapses almost immediately. Profuse streams of small bubbles rise rapidly to the surface, but offer no lacing or foam on the surface.

Aroma: Aromas of fresh limes and sweet and spicy alcohol are quite notable.

Taste: The taste opens with a burst of lime, sugar, and sweet alcohol. I am made to think of lime soda with a good dose of vodka. As the taste progresses, the lime flavor rises to the forefront, with the alcohol a steady undercurrent. The alcohol is rather warming. Late in the taste, slightly bitter lime rind presents. The taste at that pint is like bitter lime rind, glazed with sugar. The bitterness of the lime rind helps to bring the taste to a graceful close.

Mouth feel: Smooth and fairly full, with slight stinging carbonation.

Drinkability/notes: At about $1.75 for a twenty-four ounce can, there is no room for complaint. Steel Reserve Spiked Limeade would be quite refreshing on a hot summer day, though with the relatively high ABV, you could easily, as a dear friend put it "outrun it".

Presentation: Packaged in a twenty-four ounce aluminum can, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.
