Served in a pint glass.

Appearance: Cloudy golden Amber with a subtle white head maybe half a finger's length.

Smell: lemon skin and yeast with light spice notes. Think of nutmeg brewed with your tea.

Taste: Complex sweet lemon and pepper, yeast notes give it a unique sour feel.

Mouth: So sticky, oh man...good and bad. Medium carbonation doesn't make up for it..meaning the after the taste alone is beast.

Overall: good brew, and I do mean good...not crazy about saisons but this one I developed a liking to that is like black skin to a killer whale...no pun intended. Salud.

Pour a golden hue. It's a full color. Nice funky aroma. Nice sweet tropical fruit to it. Mango is most prominent for me. This is young, so may be it would develop more with time. It's really nice now though. There is a touch of bitterness. The mouthfeel is full too, it's not too thin. This is a beer to enjoy on a sunny, warm day.

In the past, I've described this as "Mango Frooti," which, of course, is fresh and juicy.

Had a 2013 that came out velvety smooth yet dry and crisp with excellent tartness. Nose and taste are ripe with stone fruit, hints of hops and a very satisfying restrained brett. Complexity was notable immediately, but really .took off as beer warmed a bit in latter half of bottle. The soft natural carbonation was just spot on. Masterful brewing.

Um I sat on this a while. It may be a 2014 ? I thought I cellared it well but when I opened it it went off

Look hazy orange with a white head that seems to sustain pretty well

Smell- dust funk yeasty- kind of like older bread

Taste- slightly medicinal crisp and dry the Brett takes a but of a back seat. Doesn't quite get around to the tartness of say propolis.

Feel- it's. A tad syrupy, it has a heavier mouth feel like a wheat beer almost. Lingers on the going a bit and despite its champagne-ness doesn't clean up too well

Overall- I think the fact that I aged this up to maybe 4 years and perhaps not at the best conditions it has matured quite well. Because I am tasting it side by side with 2015 GABF winner propolis brewing Beltane it is not tasting as well as it could be. Would I order this again? Yes! Is it better than Propolis Not right now.

Poured cloudy straw with good head retention. Smells nice and funky. More like a gueuze, without the oak. Flavors abound in addition to the funk and it has a smooth flavor profile, more so than so many others. Mouthfeel lends to the balance.

L: Body is a slightly cloudy golden orange. Finger width white head that quickly receded, leaving a ring around the glass.

S: Plenty of funky citrus, pear, apple, brett, mild biscuit.

T: Same as the nose, dry, tart but not sour, and some vanilla upon swallowing.

F: Light bodied with high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing with a mild warmth upon swallowing.

Major gusher, lost some despite having glass at ready.

Cloudy, almost turbid gold topped by enldlessly rising white head. When it finally retreats a lasting, thick cap remains.

Strong aroma, fronted by lemon-limey and barnyard, with lighter tart notes behind it, and a general peppery spice that brings it incredble depth and complexity.

All the flavors of the nose, balanced perfectly, with an emerging bitter spice to it that really sets this one apart, and earthy notes back it all up beautifully.

Thick for style, pleasantly so, highly carbed, clean deep finish, man this one hits a homerun here also. Linger is complex and entices next sip.

Stunningly fine beer. Highest recommendation.
