Pours a slightly hazey gold with medium head. Aroma is a clean, concise farmhouse style featuring notes of straw / hay, golden malt & loam. Taste is nothing fancy or out-of-this-world but it hits the right notes. There are notes of lemon rind, funky yeast and thin wafer. Maybe a bit sour on the end, but overall a very solid beer.

Thanks to Veggie for sharing.

Big fizzy fluffy head, nice lacing, clear golden yellow color.

Nose tart lemony, mild farmhouse notes, little grainy doughy, mild sweet candy malt, grassy hay funk.

Taste sweet candy malts, toasted grain wheat and hay, grassy, little bitterness, fair sweetness, pretty sweet, mild farmhouse saison yeast, lemony. Finish dry grainy doughy farmhouse, little grassy, nice bitterness.

Mouth is med bod, nice carb, little syrupy.

Overall ok. Too sweet, nothing special either.

750ml bottle into tulip.

A: Pours clear straw yellow with an expected thick and very fluffy bright white airy head that slowly collapsed into a thick film that resembled whipped egg whites. Chucks of thick lace were left down the glass.
S: Clean, dry, crackery, grains dominate the nose. Very dry and crackery smelling with notes of grainy wheat. Very crisp. Tons of phenolic clove and a touch of golden fruits including pear. There's a good amount of peppery spice and a touch of earth hops. Very balanced.
T: Follows the nose with spicy yeast, earthy hops, golden fruit, and clove yeast, with a solid crackery malt backbone that is crisp and drying. The finish is full of crisp wheat and pepper, and the aftertaste has a lingering amount of bitter earthy hops and mild citrus.
M: Medium-full body, soft, thick, and fluffy carbonation, with a dry crisp and clean mouthfeel.
O: A very well balanced and near flawless saison that reminds me a lot of a Belgian golden strong ale. Delicious.
