Bottle: Poured a medium copper color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of bitter hops with some resin and piney notes as well. Taste is a nice mix between some dry caramel malt with notes of bitter hops with a balance between some citrus and resin notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid offering while not straying too far from the style.

App: Burned orange, copper, thin head

Nose: Caramel malt, citrus peels, white bread. Resinous, piny and herbal notes dominates over the fresher, fruitier notes.

Taste: Bread. Caramel. Grapefruit, citrusy, resinous, piney. Sharp bitter finish. Green vegetable notes. Herbal like thyme. Lemon peel. An expected profile for a continously hopped IPA. This is what you call a palate wrecker imo (thats not bad) . Strong bitterness. Medium body. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Pleasant. The bitterness lingers on forever.

Solid example of the style. Definate sharp grapefruit, citrus peel, green herbs and pine. The strong point of this beer to me is the balance between that sharp, unapologetic bitterness with the more bready and caramel notes from the malts.

Pours dark copper, with a fairly thin off-white head. Medium lacing left behind as drunk. Aromas of red fruit peels and a tinge of molasses. Tastes of caramel, with a definite tea punch. A nice happiness on the swallow. Overall, this is an IPA in what I like to call the "tea category". This one is good, but not overly memorable when I think back on all of the IPAs I have imbibed
