Small and interesting food selection. Great wait staff. Good Beer selection, small selection and well thought through. Not sure why, but someone that works there refuses to take it off of "The Carpenter's" music channel. I don't mind it once or twice, but over and over, i had to say something. I almost left, but they finally changed it. Not everyone likes to listen to what the bartender likes. They should consider mixing it up a bit.

Vibe: This is a small, restaurant/bar about a block away from the Steinway Street subway station on the M/R lines. The place is narrow but long and has a few tables by the windows in the front, a bar in the middle, and the bulk of the tables in the back, one of which is a long communal table.

Quality: Beers were served at the proper temperature using appropriate glassware—I received imperial ales in snifter glasses.

Service: Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about each of the beers and the menu items. Two of people I was with ordered a flight and he gave a through description of each of the beers, spending about half a minute talking about each one and his personal opinions.

Selection: The restaurant had four beers on-tap and was celebrating their third birthday when I visited so they had an anniversary theme going with the following draft selections: Allagash Fluxus, Bruery Bois, Lakefront 25th Anniversary Pumpkin, and Stone 17th Anniversary IPA. While they didn't have a lot of taps, they did have a wide assortment of 50 different bottled beers. A flight of their four draft beers was also available.

Food: This place had some interesting food selections. I would definitely recommend the Kimchi Shakshouka as an appetizer, as it puts a Korean twist on a Northern African dish. They also had a bunch of fancy grilled cheese sandwiches—I tried one with Gouda and black bean hummus, guava jam, and pickled jalapeños.
