The liquid is clear pale yellow; the white foam sinks quickly down to a thin white lid.
The smell is malty and a bit dry with notes of hay, white bread and some almost unnoticeable aroma hops.
The taste is first very mild with some sweet malt, and then a sour bitterness emerges together with some alcohol and a grapefruit-like fruit-flavour. The aftertaste is easy-going with a somewhat sweet bread-like malty taste paired with a simple bitterness.
The carbonation is OK with some big bubbles, but it gets stale very quick.
I found this beer as another typical Mediterranean quencher: Not bad, but not exceptional in any way either.

Straight out of the can at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, this is crisp, clean, lightly toasty and surprisingly semi-bitter of wild herbs with a bone dry finish.
Admittedly it's a pretty great sunny festival day beer.

I give a lot of parties. Some people are not beer drinkers. Some people like only certain types of beer. I like beer as a beverage to refresh or paired with foods; such as pizza, pretzel, fish, crayfish, Tex-Mex, BBQ. Or on a hot day a cold one is exceptional. Peroni is my most requested beer when I have parties. Non-beer drinkers, bless their soles, will actually say, "This beer is so good it doesn't taste like beer" or "this is the only beer I will drink". It is a tasty brew but can be boring if you are wanting strong flavors or wanting just a beer for the sake of taste. But if you want a beer as a beverage to go with what I call "outdoor foods" or "party foods" there is no better beer. I always have a variety of beers at my parties; the first to run out is Peroni. I like this beer for its versatility. For others its the cool green bottle or the fancy label or the classy Italian-ness.

It's a OK larger, nothing too complicated going on. And it matches my expectation for the drink. It's simple but quite refreshing and drinkable. BTW, it tastes like a less bitter version of pilsner.

Nice head, good carbonation, nasty mouthfeel, no hops to detect, lack of malt. Thin and watery, tastes like nothing. Italy has nowadays much better beers...

Pours out of the bottle a crystal clear light gold. Good 2 fingers of head with decent retention. Smells slightly sweet and malty. Taste follows the nose with a little bite at the finish. A very crisp refreshing beer but on the thin side as you might expect.

This poured a clear gold color with virtually no real head on this one. The smell is of something sweet and very similar to the other Peroni beers that I've had before.

330 ml bottle poured into a tumbler pint glass.
Best by 1/28/23
Very skunky nose with some bright hops coming through. Some skunk comes through in the taste but much less than the nose. Starts with green/floral hops with more prominent malty, corn like, sweetness taking over. Light feel with a bit of mouth coat.
I would say average for style if it was without so much skunk.

On draft at an Italian restaurant in Charlottesville, VA. Clear, effervescent light straw color. Smallish head. Aroma and flavor feature light grain, citrus, and bread. No skunkiness. Mouthfeel is fairly thin. Overall a great complement to some great Italian fresh-made pasta.

On tap into a large pint glass (20 ouncer?).
Pale yellow. One finger of white head. Little lacing and retention.
Smells like it should. Bready, grainy.
Taste follows. Very mild skunkiness.
Medium to high carbonation. Bready aftertaste.
Nice beer after a round of golf on a hot day. Maybe not so nice for anything else.

Poured from an 11.2 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "best before" date on bottle is 01/27/23.
APPEARANCE: pours a clear, light yellow color with less than one-finger white head that slowly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, medium carbonation, minimal lacing on the glass.
SMELL: subtle notes of sweet honey and corn bread and just a small amount of that euro skunk I find in many European lagers.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially subtle sweet honey and corn bread, there is a taste of bread crust on the finish, the euro skunk is barely perceptible but it's there.
PALATE: light body and medium carbonation.
OVERALL: this is decent for what it is, a light euro lager, you could serve this at a party and it would not offend anyone, people who don't normally like beer would enjoy this, it's bland and inoffensive, you could drink this after mowing the lawn.
