The liquid is clear pale yellow; the white foam sinks quickly down to a thin white lid.

The smell is malty and a bit dry with notes of hay, white bread and some almost unnoticeable aroma hops.

The taste is first very mild with some sweet malt, and then a sour bitterness emerges together with some alcohol and a grapefruit-like fruit-flavour. The aftertaste is easy-going with a somewhat sweet bread-like malty taste paired with a simple bitterness.

The carbonation is OK with some big bubbles, but it gets stale very quick.

I found this beer as another typical Mediterranean quencher: Not bad, but not exceptional in any way either.

On tap at brunch, I know I've had it in the past and disliked, but it was free, so for the sake of review... pours looking like any other lager - not a bad thing. Aroma tells me I won't be enjoying it, many similar characteristics to pilsner with a metallic peppery note dominating. Flavor follows which is worse. Finish is dry and aftertaste is bad.

Drank straight from the bottle.
You know what you're getting with this one, and as long as you know that you're good. Don't expect much but a light, easy drinking Euro Lager. Order a large pie from Patsy's and grab a 6 of Peroni and you're good. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Also a very good summer quencher.

Smells like a citrusy skunk, similar to a mexican lager. Tastes kind of like a good pilsner that was left outside in the sun for too long. I don’t know how to feel about this beer.

Would I drink this beer again? Yes. Would I buy this beer again? No. It’s just not for me, it has a stale lingering aftertaste that hangs around after every sip. Bought at the beer store in Toronto.

Draft serving. Yellow body with a white foam head. Nice and crisp hoppy flavor with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. A very good beer and it went great with pizza!

Clear medium gold, with slight, quickly-dissipating white head. Nice looking, but seems a little thin .

Aroma of slightly-sweet , lightly-toasted grain . Helles-like, but lighter. Very slight hint of skunk & cattiness. Probably wouldn't notice if I wasn't reviewing.

Taste is the light sweet grain in the aroma, plus a slight floral note . Towards finish there is a light bitterness , plus a light, dry flavor that dances on the line between "bread crust" and " licking cardboard". It's the latter, often too prevalent, that leads me to dislike so many light lagers. Thankfully this dances on the line, and doesn't go well over it.

Feel is light, of course, with moderate very, very fine, sharp carbonation tingle. Slight dryness on the finish, that lingers a bit, leaving the front of the tongue feeling lightly sanded.

Overall , not bad, and easy-drinking. Better than the overwhelming majority of its ilk. I've had this on draught, and didn't get the skunky or catty aromas, nor any "licking cardboard" sensation. I'd guess those are the effects of being in green bottles. In that case, my ratings would probably be 3.0*/3.75/3.5/4.0/4.0

Appearance: Clear gold, large white head that disappeared quickly, very little lacing.
Aroma: Light toasted malt nose with a modest floral note.
Taste: Clean and simple. Some sweetness midway through, while tacking on a bit of spiciness by the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied, well carbonated short lived finish.
Overall: Not too bad, but not on my 'recommended' list.

This (or Birra Moretti) is a staple in my Dad's fridge. What can you say.. I'm not gonna pour it into a pint glass cause it's not one of those "fancy" beers. It's a Euro lager -- and a decent one at that. Waaaaay better than Heineken or other mass-produced Euro lagers. It's got a slight sweetness that makes it super easy to drink and a great looking bottle.

Look: Weak, pale clear yellow. Not even as dark as most ginger ale. White head that didn't hold up long.
Smell and Taste: Some sweetness with a dry finish.
Feel: Crisp and refreshing.
Overall: This beer was given to me. Had some before I joined BA and back then buying it once was enough. Peroni has been tried, measured and found wanting. Not my style of beer. Give me another Stout!!!!

Being an old 1st Gen Italian immigrant..this beer was in the fridge usually. Gramps would stock it and keep it in basement fridge where he cured and dried Abruzze homemade sausage..
Underage..yeah..but sausage..fresh Italian bread and a Peroni or two..molti bene..!!!
It was Hamms or other bargain Beers upstairs..for my Dad and Uncles..Pabst..Schlitz..whatever was cheapest.

But i looked like my Nono, we were the only Blue eyed Dagos in the house..just wish he had the thick hair like the other men in the family

So I got the free pass to Gramps fridge !!
Awesome..and the Nuns never knew !

Light and crispy taste, you'd almost think this is a light beer, which it's not. Not much of a smell to the beer, which is kind of expected when your looking at a lager like this. No lingering after taste, very rice like taste, it's the perfect beer to down with some greasy foods! I'd say it matched what you'd typically eat at an Italian restaurant hence it's lightness, compared to alot of heavy Italian dishes. It's a smooth crisp beer!
