De color anaranjado, con una fina espuma de baja retención. De cuerpo ligero y carbonatación media. Aroma a levadura y cereales. En boca tiene un ligero dulzor y resulta acuosa.

330 ml bottle, 6,6%. Golden colour, low to none head. Fruity aroma, with hints of strawberries. Pale bock qualities in the flavour, alcoholic warmth. Not bad.

Clear gold with thick foamy head. Recedes nicely to a thin line. Sweet malts and cereal flavours. Aroma is again along the lines of sweet bread. Low carbonation. I didn’t taste much bitterness. Not bad.

I am trying this beer in Naples. Poured from a brown 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts. Taste is a mixture of malts and alcohol. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall not bad, but nothing special.

It is a bock beer of an intense yellow colour, almost amber.
Aroma of malt and cereals, with spicy traces.
Taste of malt, caramel, cereals, with balanced traces of alcohol.
It is a beer carbonated on average, with an intense aftertaste, almost spicy.
From a general perspective, Peroni Gran Riserva Doppio Malto is a balanced and drinkable bock beer.

Bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel, toffee and floral notes. Fairly malty with sweet caramel and a subtle bitterness.

L- A good rich golden colour. Crystal clear. Pours with 1Cm off-white head, slowly reducing to lacing. Some rising CO2 continues.
S- A tiny bit of hops, but to find just that I'm almost vacuuming up beer through my nose.
T- Quite dry on the front, richer in the middle as the alcohol comes through, and dry again into the finish. That's it for me, there isn't great complexity to this. Or as my (occasional beer drinker) wife said 'The alcohol is like a Belgian monastic beer (her fav is 'Tripel Karmeliet'), but it doesn't come with that same depth of flavour at all'.
M- They've done a decent job, there's no missing it's not messing about on the alcohol level. The flavours do pretty much balance against it.
O- It's strong and there is no missing that, but it's not particularly complex nor interesting.
Bought from Waitrose, London. The bottle has changed from the above pic; it's now closer to the shape of a champagne bottle. BB: '06/19 Padova L8 169 1 09'

It smells of armpits
Slight malty taste and alcohol
It goes okay I guess with za

Not a big Peroni Nastro Azzurro fan but curios and bough both to compare. I put both the Nastro Azzurro and the Gran Riserva Doppio Malto into the fridge and tasted them at about 3 degrees C. Didn't like either. I re tasted the Gran Riserva Doppio Malto at around 12 degrees and really enjoyed it. It followed on from a Goose Island IPA and I was really surprised as it gave a nice rounded sweetness to follow on from the Goose Island. So for me, I would buy this again and serve at 12 degrees C

30 Junio 2016. From Alcampo. In Teku glass. Watching Sons of Anarchy 5x08. A bit in the sweet side. If this is their "grand reserve", I dont want to know their "normal" beer. Avg 2.33
26 Oct 2019. De Club del Gourmet del Corte Ingles de San Juan. Nueva etiqueta. En copa Alhambra. En almuerzo, tras partido de futbito. Con papa fritas con huevo frito + nuggets. Dulzor alcoholico tipico de lager infustrial subidita de grados y poco mas. Al menos no resulta excesivo y el feel es bueno

Pours a dark golden color with one finger head. Very active carbonation. Taste is sour and has some wine character. Aftertaste hints at the higher alcohol content. I’ll take a German bock over this anytime...

Light amber colour with little carbonation visible. Head becomes patchy quickly. Nose is just a hint of treacle. Taste begins with malt sweetness and ends bitter, tea-like & dank. Odd, leafy aftertaste. Medium body, light carbonation, astringent, slightly gassy. Not very nice. Would almost prefer the bog-standard, bland Peroni lager.
