I have been here numerous times, and absolutely love this spot so I figured it was time to write a long overdue review.

My favorite thing about this pub is its atmosphere. The lighting is just right, it never gets too loud despite the crowd, and it is truly a place in which I could spend a long time. If pubs in Britain are anything like this, then I need to get over there soon.

The quality of both the food and beer is pretty solid. The food is standard pub fare, and the pizzas and sandwiches are all quite good, but nothing amazing. There is a solid selection of entrees as well, both traditional British dishes (shepherd's pie, chicken pie, fish and chips) as well as other more interesting options. I typically stick to simple sandwiches or pizza and have always left satisfied. There are also a number of good appetizers that go well with beer.

The service is also very good in my opinion. They don't rush you out of there and are also very responsive. One of the things I like is that some of the staff is very knowledgable on the beer and will offer you several samples until you find what you like. I hate pubs that charge for a 1 oz sample of beer. If you sit at the bar, you will definitely get the most responsive service and also the best experience with the beer.

In terms of the beer selection, it is always changing, and I find it to be good but not great. There are always the traditional English beers (Fullers, Boddingtons, etc) but also a variety of American beers that change more frequently. I'm never blown away by the selection, but can typically find two or three beers I'd like to have. Almost all are served in 16 or 20 oz glasses and are priced reasonably. There is about 30-40 taps, and an extensive bottle list as well.

Overall, this is a great spot to go for dinner and a couple of great beers with friends and family. If you are ever in the area, definitely try to get here. I've been to three BBC establishments, and like this one the most by far. If coming on a Friday or Saturday evening I recommend doing "call-ahead seating" as it will save you some time with your wait.

The location is in a shopping center and I was surprised by how much the outside decor stood out. Looks pretty nice from the outside with a handful of outside seating out on the shopping center walkway.

We went for dinner on a Thursday night, they had live music, which was above average. They had about 20 or so taps, a good mix of local, craft staples, and english staples.

I have to disagree with those who claim this is feels like a traditional english pub. It reminded me of an applebees.

The food was standard pub fare, above average there and price where it should be. The service was a bit slow, but very nice. I always had to initiate my need for another drink, rather than being actively encouraged to spend more money.

Overall, as I am not local, I probably won't be back, but if I was local, its a nice spot.

Dark wood through out. Nice square bar with taps and TV's on all sides. Seating booths around the bar.

Beer tasted fresh.

4-5 bartenders there to always asking if you need anything else.

20-25 beer on tap, 4 on hand pumps and 1 cask, number of bottle selections as well.

Now the food, ordered a burger that was pretty good except for the fact that it had partially precooked bacon on it. How fucking hard is it to fully cook bacon???

Prices were a little high but that's how it is at BBC.

Overall it was nice to have multiple selection of good beer in Franklin, food needs some help with basic cooking.
