On tap at glass half full in sterling va. Pours a golden orange with thick creamy head. .really nice looking. Awesome fruity and piney hop aromas. Taste is fruity hop with a nice piney bitter finish. ..malty and bready but well balanced and smooth. Really an awesome opa.. its not overdone...classic to the style and just awesome. Don't really get all the sub par reviews. ..its fantastic.

Presentation: It was served from the tap at The Lost Rhino Brewery. Appearance: It has a medium orange amber colored body with light haze. It's head is small just off white in color and settles quickly. Smell: The aroma is fairly light overall and brings a modest balance of herbal and fruity hops with light maltiness. Taste / Palate: Its flavor is balanced between sweet fruity bready malt and hops. The palate is easy drinking and maybe a light on carbonation.

Served on tap in a pint glass.

Appearence: Golden in color with a thin white head.

Smell: Hops, pine notes and citrus.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste of mild bitter hops/pine with citrus.

Overall: Good IPA! I would have this one again.

Excellent IPA - you can drink more than one. Poured 12 oz can into pint glass.

A - pours a great copper color; not clear, but not murky

S - good smell; not overpowering aroma

T - not an overpowering taste, but still the great IPA taste

M - nothing special, but did not take away from the taste

O - a great beer.

Canned on date of 01/15/14

Appearance - Pours a hazy, rusty orange with an off-white finger's worth of head. Fair retention leads to a broken layer of suds across the surface. Lacing is small and spotty with good stick.

Smell - Kinda earthy. Some caramel. Subdued hop aroma.

Taste - Follows the nose; Earth and caramel upfront and throughout, while a present but underwhelming floral and slight citrus character makes up the bulk of the hop profile. Hints of honey. Finish is light pith bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied, but drinks a bit heavier with a low to moderate carbonation. Goes down easy enough.

Overall - Hop heads beware, this beer will not appease you. Along the same lines as a Longhammer; good beginner's IPA, but once graduated it's best not to look back. It's drinkable in the least.
