Appearance:
Pours a hazy, soft yellow; like a pale sunrise over a golden wheat field. Its tiny head appears and disappears in almost the same instant. No lacing.
Bouquet:
Wheat bops you strong on the nose and its followed by a faint trace of banana, as if someone were baking monkey bread a few floors down.
Taste:
Clean, hearty grains coupled with subtle, ripe banana. Its been ages since I've had a hefeweizen that successfully carries notes of banana. There's no cloying, corn-syrup sweetness as there tends to be in banana flavored beers. Just a gentle undercurrent of wholesome banana that's noticeable mostly in the aftertaste.
Feel:
Calm and smooth, none of the abrasive carbonation that tends to plague most hefeweizens. Gentle as a daydream.
Overall:
Quite nice! The wheat aspect doesn't overtake the crisp simplicity of its white ale roots. Pairs well with seafood, especially pan-seared salmon or broiled fish fillet.

The beer pours a cloudy amber with little head that quickly dissipates.
Smells of cloves and earthy tones
The taste is cloves and some sweetness
Mouthfeel is in the middle with some carbonation on the tongue
Overall an okay beer but there are better.

I liked this rendition of a hefeweizen. It really hits the banana notes that I feel that a lot of hefes miss. It's a like banana bread. There's a tangy note in there as well. Not much clove to speak of, which was surprising since most American hefe producers seem to have cloves as much as a goth hipster. Anyway, a really nice hazy hefeweizen.

The beer pours a very cloudy pale straw color. The beer has very strong clove and banana note on the taste and smell with a slight hint of hop bitterness. The beer is pretty refreshing despite the dry finish. Overall, a pretty good hefeweizen that's worth getting a growler of for the summer weather.

Presentation: It was served on tap at the Lost Rhino Brewery. Appearance: The body has a cloudy light amber look with a small just off white head on top. This head settles quickly and make a little slick lacing on the glass as I drink. Smell: The aroma is classic Hefeweizen all the way. Taste/Palate: This one is a stand out from the rest of there line up. It has all the classic bready wheat maltiness with banana, clove and light bubblegum flavor notes that I like in a Hefeweizen. The finsh is well balanced and palate feels well carbonated and easy drinking.
