WoB, Ft. Myers, maybe I'm just too much of a geek, or maybe I've been spoiled from living so close to Cigar City over the last 3 years, but it just didn't do it for me. Look, they had a decent selection, but the taps are really what I look forward to, and there is nothing on tap that I can't get down the street at total wine. I think it's great they do brewery take-over nights, and those are the nights to hit this place up. Great beer that you can't find anywhere else.

The staff is somewhat knowledgable, and the place is pretty cool. Nice bar, glass coolers, and beer decor on the walls and they had some live music one of the times I was in there.

I would suggest visiting this place in the afternoon, before it gets too crowded. It's in a busy srtip mall, with a movie theater, so before and after movies, it gets pretty packed.

All in all, it's the best place to grab a beer in the Fort Myers area. That being said, it's a chain, and has a chain feel. I just wish someone would open a true brew pub or craft beer bar in the area. Cheers.

Drove quite a distance to have some Funky Buddha Last Buffalo In The Park on tap. Omg it is great!! Only joint on the West coast of Fl. that had it on draught. Good service thanks to EJ, cool place. Sitting outside during a beatiful South Florida day. It don't get much better than that!!

Went here for Funky Buddha's Maple Bacon Coffee Porter draft day.I started off with a glass of Pineapple Beach Blonde Ale,and finished with 2 glasses of MBCP. Great selection, very friendly staff, great seating selection, with outside and inside tables plus plenty of stools at the bar.A little pricey but to be expected in that area.Lots of flat screen TV's with various sports channels playing.Very cool decor. My only complaint would be some of the music...Back Street Boys??? C'mon dude, seriously??? LMAO!!! But seriously,a great venue with awesome employees.

Tons of beer, have to watch their draft list online to find your best bets. Waitress told us they do box deals and sell you bottles at apparently wholesale price, but didn't get into details with them about it. Food was good, especially the pretzel. Hard to argue with St. Bernardus 12 on tap!

Large-ish bar in a shopping center. No separate seating for dining so this place is not family friendly. Plenty of taps with lots of bottles in coolers in plain view behind the bar. Service was decent as we sat at the bar. Happy to find a multi-tap in Florida but disappointed that more local beer was not represented. They did have one Cigar City on tap, but seriously Cigar City should be much better represented here. Other than that they did have a single Bells on (not local, but certainly is unique to the area and also should have had several on). When we asked about local beers we were told they were having a Ste. Arnold's tap takeover (Texas). Other than Cigar City and Bells really nothing here I couldn't get in New England.

A big plus for this place though is that they are in the same plaza as Grimaldi's pizza.

This is a place I go to try new things on their rotating tap menu. Only a few low seats which are important to me because of a bad leg from an old accident. I like that they are dog friendly. My two dachshunds like to join me for brews, and are real fans of beer gardens. They have carried a good selection of Florida beers and I have had several that I could not have at the brewery since they were not dog friendly. The waitresses are nice and attentive. The waiters seems more interested in the waitresses, female patrons, or friends. If they had food I would go more often and bring friends. Overall my third favorite place to get a variety of beers in Fort Myers.

I have been to a few of the other WOB in Florida and I have to say this is the weakest one I have ever been to. The tap selection is horrible, no Bell's, no Stone, not even one CCB on draft. These are staples that should be at every fine "craft" beer bar. What was really weird is that they still had ST Pumpking on draft, and its late February, this is uncalled for by inexperienced staff, they should of blown that out by no later than November. Very disappointing. The staff seemed like they were annoyed and didn't even want to work in this place.

Adam said it all pretty much. Cool atmosphere & loved the clear glass fridges behind the bar, but it seems more like a sports pub than a mecca for craft beer.

Dont get me wrong, its a badass place - but if your looking for a place to go beer geek it out & talk about brewing methods and trading for rares with the guy next to you, this isnt it.

Solid selection of craft beer, especially when they have brewery nights like this week is Cigar City Night tomorrow & they will be having: Jai Alai, Good Gourd Imperial Pumpkin Ale, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Brown Ale, Florida Cracker White Ale, Table Saison, Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale, Minaret ESB, Marshal Zhukov’s Imperial Stout,
White Oak Jai-Alai, El Lector, & Oktoberfest.

That gives you some idea of their brewery nights. Also, Im a college grad student & on wednesday nights they have 1/2 off select drafts. They also have a loyalty card where you recieve points for drinking different beers & get rewarded periodically. Pretty interesting promo stuff in my opinion.

Staff was awesome, they were busy but still took a minute to talk to their customers & were already on a first name basis with some regulars (2 weeks after opening!).

If your in the area, check it out for sure!

We were there for the pre-opening party on Monday 8/22/11. The bar is a bit small, especially the inside section. I liked the way the beer coolers were arranged behind the bar so you could walk by and see everything they had to offer. While the selection is huge - around 50 taps and 500 bottles), they don’t really offer anything too exotic or rare. In fact, you can get a better selection across the street at Total Wine. I was a little disappointed by the fact that they didn’t have any large format bottles from Cigar City or Dogfish Head. These are staples of my beer fridge and I think they’d sell well. I know I sound like I’m complaining, but I really did like the place and will likely be back very frequently. I just wish they’d gone the route of a true beer bar instead of a loud sports bar that sells craft beer. I’ll update my rating in the future once they’ve worked their opening kinks out.

EDIT: They’ve now been open for 3 months or so and I must say I’m impressed. The selection is very good and the keg rotation is fantastic. I really like the brewery nights that they’re doing. So far they’ve had Bell’s, Cigar City and Sierra Nevada with Dogfish Head coming in a couple weeks. My ratings have been increased to reflect the fact that this place is much better now that they’ve worked out the kinks from the opening weeks.
