Another one of those "how have I not had this one yet" beers. Mostly clear bubbly gold with a white cap. Oak is the strong backbone of the smell and taste. Aromas of lemon, general citrus esters, wheat, flowers, white pepper, and brett. Taste is more focused on the citrus, flowers make a bolder stance. Feel is oak tart, fresh, springy, and has a decent wheat presence given the mixed fermentation. Nice new age wit

759 ml bottle into a tulip glass. 2018 version. Had 10/22/18.
Pours a mostly clear bright yellow, with a two inch foamy head and a good amount of foamy lacing. Active carbonation. Aromas of Belgian yeast, white grapes, some lemon, wheat, light wine, a little malt. Some brett, and funk, a light spicy aroma. The taste is... pretty tart. Flavors of malt, wheat, white grapes, less Belgian yeast, some spices and lemon, brett, some funk, a little oak. Smooth, a solid lighter body, well carbonated.
Nice balance of being Belgian, tart and funky. Great aroma, very good flavor. Very enjoyable and worth a purchase.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color. It poured with a thin white head. It left a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of brett funk are present in the nose.
T: The taste is funky and has a little bit of sourness and has hints of lemons, oranges, and lactic acid.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink but has a lot of complexity in both the smell and taste. I liked the funk, which was not overpowering.

Poured from 750 mL bottle into shaker pint glass. 5% ABV
A: Pours a clear pale yellow with high carbonation and 1/4 inch fizzy white head that quickly recedes. Some sediment dancing in the carbonation jets.
S: Sour, light lemon citrus, white pepper, tart lime, and dry cracker malt. Hints of salt and grape around the edges.
T: Soft lemon sweetness quickly followed by tart lime and salt. A bit later, notes of grape, honey, oak, and a hint of coriander.
M: Light body. Softly sweet with moderate sour and tart notes. Salty note too. Lingers and matures a bit on the palate. Dry finish.
D: An interesting sour ale/witbier. Unique, refreshing, and very drinkable!

Light straw appearance with little head and carbonation. Light citrus aroma. Taste is a sharp peach or guava flavor. The taste is the best part of this beer.

Pours a pretty transparent golden color. This funky wit is very funky but not full of wit. There's white wine and funk aroma. It's tart and there's a funky cheese flavor. A little orange peel on the finish. I really do like this beer despite the witless comment I've made, but I just don't see a lot of wit character in this beer. It's unique and tasty though.
