Gold in color with a fingernail of dishwater white covering the majority of the top. The aroma is of equal parts Belgian pale malt and tart Brettanomyces. I'm tasting some very sweet, light, Belgian malt with a hint of tart Brettanomyces in the back of the palate. The mouth is very dry and highly carbonated.

Taste: Stone fruit, apricot, yeast, tart, complex tangy almost dry finish. floral Brett yeast nose. Gold, mostly unfiltered, delicate head with Belgian lattice of lace. Medium body.

Poured out a pale, straw-yellow color with a small, fizzy white head of foam. It smelled of funky brett, oats and yeastiness. Very funky flavor with hints of caramel sweetness.

a belgian pale ale with brett, and one of the better wild beers i have had from these guys. it pours beautifully from the tap, with a head over two inches high, white and expansive in the globe on top of a pale straw colored brew, thick and hazy but not sloppy looking. aroma is horsey, grassy, and funky, with a distinctive brett drie strain rustic saison mustiness to it, summery and harvest timey at the same time, earthen and old school, but so bright and alive too, i really loved this. i get a dandelion or other bitter floral element in the nose and taste, maybe some saaz type hops in a half bittering role, definitely has an old european saison vibe about it with the bitterness, and the malt is dry but quite full bodied here, fluffy feeling and substantial, which is a great texture for this bretty funk, its almost creamy, super charged on the carbonation, and really dry to finish. we grass, cedar wood, and white wine notes to the brett profile here, really developed but also familiar to me, not so wild, but wonderful funky dryness here. drinkable forever i think, balanced and traditional tasting to me, this could have come from dupont or someone like that. some of perennials best work in this category!
