Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on August 8, 2018. Brewed with flaked oats and Vienna malt grown in Chile. Dry hopped with Simcoe and a blend of American hops. Smell is pine, orange citrus and stone fruit. Feel is medium in body with a slightly bitter finish.

Released 7/12/18; drank 7/29/18 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy orange/yellow appearance.

A violent pour yielded a nice, noisy off-white head; strong lace.

Pine, lemon, caramel & faint floral notes in the nose.

Creamy medium thick mouthfeel.

Caramel, pine & grapefruit flavors; booze heat emerged as this warmed.

Old model IPA that just doesn't speak to me.

Just shoving my foot farther into the NE craze here. Super hazy deep golden color, nice yellow up against the light. A decent sized white head slowly dropped down to a small cap, tons of lacing left. Smelled like a tropical blend juice, but with a sweet malt background. Almost overripe fruit every now and then. Very orange on the tongue, with some other fruity notes and a balancing sweetness. Nothing really jumps out but all hold their ground. Feels fairly juicy, medium bodied and soft. Not too bad there Perennial.

Features flaked oats and Vienna malt grown in Chile, kettle and dry hopped using Simcoe and Falconer's Flight hops... Medium-light gold and hazed with a white head a finger or two high... NE-style DIPA with tropical and orchard fruits notes including mandarin orange, plum, floral apricot, and peach juice, and a creamy, honeyed malt sweetness that made it a little reminiscent of an orange creamsicle pop... Soft and smooth, mild bitterness up front but it will leave a light numbing citric tingle across the palate by the time you're done, moderate sweetness... Fairly standard descriptors for an NEIPA, but the beer is very enjoyable, well-crafted, and I didn't see any of the sediment mentioned by vidblain, though he was clearly drinking from their first canning of the beer, whereas I am sampling the second canning... Best by date of 10/11/18...

Static Electricity capped off an evening of tremendously pour drinking choices yesterday - after attending the Casanova Dark Beer Cave fest, a couple buddies and I continued drinking a bit, and finished the evening with Static Electricity.

I was drinking slowly, being still quite drunk - and I was surprised to see how quickly Static Electricity settled out. There was a tremendous amount of suspended stuff in the bottle quarter of my glass. It looked like an algae bloom of some kind. Sort of ruined any interest I had in the beer.

While I liked the taste, smell, and appearance prior to that, an IPA shouldn't settle out in half an hour. That's just weird.
