Notes:
Anniversary Blend 2022 is comprised of various spirit barrel-aged high gravity beers. The blend consists of 11% Devil’s Heart Of Gold aged in a Four Roses bourbon barrel for 25 months, 11% Maman aged in an unmarked barrel for 30 months, 11% wheated stout aged in an Old Fitzgerald bourbon barrel for 20 months and 67% wheated stout aged in 2nd use maple Vermilion barrels for 20 months. We decided again to leave this blend without adjuncts to let the specific threads weave together for an integrated and unified experience. Soft oak presence is coupled with massive notes of dark chocolate and bourbon soaked raisins.

bottle pour into a snifter (half full). brown / black pour. minimal to no head. huge whiskey and maple on the nose. taste follows with more chocolate and dark fruits. full mouthfeel start to finish. another fantastic anniversary blend. it’s got stout-like chocolate, maple and vanilla along with barleywine-esque caramel and dark fruits. excellent blend of barrel-aged strong ales.

Another home run on the anniversary blend; perfect non-adjunct balance. Bourbon-soaked dark fruit, with raisin really standing out. Great viscosity, finishing warm w/ sticky caramel. Right on par with 2021 Blend. Awesome.
