Bottle dated 11/2015 L: black with no head or lacing S: in your face chili aroma followed by sweet chocolate T: the chilis are the dominant flavor but it's not too spicy, the chocolate and the cinnamon really balance the taste F: very smooth but a little thin and no carbonation O: a great spiced stout that I would love to have again. Unfortunately this one is near impossible to get. Stone Xocoveza is very similar to this beer, and much easier to attain if you are looking for comparable beer.

L- deep brown, slight reddish hue around the edges. Not much head or lacing.

S- cinnamon and chili heat.

T- I got different flavors at different times. My first half glass I got quite a bit of spice (cinnamon and chili), though not unpleasant. As I kept drinking, the flavors smoothed out a bit and I got a lot more chocolate.

F- not much carbonation. Creamy.

O- It's well done, but I can't decide how much I like it. At times, the spice overpowers the other flavors. At others it mellows and I enjoy it more. If I get my hands on another one, I'll try to let it warm up a bit first.

Pours a deep dark chocolate color. Aroma is chocolate roasted malts and chilis. Wow, this is delicious. Favor is chocolate and cinnamon and has a nice heat in the finish but isn't too hot. Overall I really enjoyed this, better than I expected.
