Pours very dark (almost motor oil) with almost no head. Nose of chocolate and peppermint schnapps. Rich mouth feel. Palate is chocolate and marshmallow that are soon to be overwhelmed by mint. Imagine an Andes mint bar infused with Peppermint Schnapps. The mint isn't subtle at all; artificial tasting; too much for me. Maybe workable with (or even on top of) a bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Mint does not belong in beer.

Poured jet black with motor oil consistency. A small tan head that promptly settled. Nice roasty minty aroma. Tastes like a stellar RIS with just the right amount of peppermint in the taste and in the nose. Really well balanced with a bitterness that melds with the mint. Thick and viscous. Great after-dinner beer

Pours an effervescent pitch black with a sliver of mocha colored head. Near zero head retention & lacing

S: A little chocolate & some mint

T: Chocolate, vanilla, mint & dryness up front. More dryness, cocoa, mint & a little mocha & dark chocolate as this warms, a little charred grain. Finishes a little dry, a little charred with mint & Chocolate

MF: Medium body, light carbonation

Wish I had some Girl Scout cookies to go with this! Drinks pretty easy for the heft & complexity, pretty tasty
