Served in a tulip glass.

Appearance: A pure red amber, very transparent and with a vigorous pour an off white slightly orange tinted head rising to maybe 1/3" off the body.

Smell: Light hops, very unique but then again very light.

Taste: What i noticed while enjoying this brew after a long day of work is what it lacks in any other category it makes up for it in taste. Heavy grapefruit skin, plus a light sweetness which grows on you; hoppy which I dont mind feels like the a borderline DIPA. it's bitter for

Mouth: Medium carbonation, just a notch flatter than I was expecting. Still sticky with

Overall: This brew is your borderline Imperial red ale, hoppy no doubt and full of flavor. The review might have been better if I immediately drank the beer upon serving it unto my growler. It is your IPA that gives you a lot, in my opinion it is very good the way it is....Salud!

A - Pours a really deep, almost dark amber red color with a incredibly thick, creamy head that doesn't die down, very sticky lacing.

S - Floral hop aroma, citrus, toasted caramel malt, and slightly spicy. Aroma overall is on the lighter side.

T - Definitely makes up for the underachieving nose. Big citrus presence in this beer with dominant orange, tangerine rinds, lemons, oily & resinous ending with a bittersweet orange that fades to a bittersweet grapefruit and a lingering finish.

M - Oily, slick, sticky, velvety carbonation.

O - Interesting beer that's balanced and incredibly resinous.
