Intense stone fruit sweetness. Finishes mildly bitter. No carbonation to speak of. Very syrupy sweet. Muddy. Wish it were cleaner. Given the circumstances, it's not terribly hard to drink.

on tap @ Fin's Grill in the washington mall...
served in a tulip glass... a little colder than I might like
eyes....
lighter than most DIPAs, not quite straw but somewhat golden, decent carbonation, good lacing throughout the glass
nose...
nose was average, good amount of hop homage, trends toward the piney side, not overbearing
taste...
decently bitter, a little light in the weight for my liking, has a some what sweet aftertaste I did not love (not over powering though). I had two of these with dinner (grilled fish) and it was a good match as the bitterness did not kill the flavors in my meal, the alcohol is sneaky and I definitely felt it after 2 glasses

Verdict?
tasty enough, nice to see a local DIPA on tap in sort of a tourist area, not my go to DIPA but not a bad option locally here in cape may
