Poured from 16 oz. can into a pint glass. It pours a slightly hazy, honey-straw color with a finger of creamy, bright white head and thick, clinging lacing. It's effervescent with lots of tiny bubbles ascending the glass. The smell is appropriate: grainy, toasted bread with spice and a whiff of citrus. Its taste is also spot-on: bready malt sweetness balanced by lemon peel and spicy hops. It has really nice clean bitterness. The mouth feel is crisp, clean, and lite with lively carbonation, and the 5.5% ABV is perfect for drinking while partaking of summertime activities. Overall, Boat Ramp Champ is a straight-forward, well-made local Helles Lager. You can't go wrong with it.

Poured into a narrow, tulip pint glass, color is straw, transparent, brighter white head presents with 1 finger then dissipates to solid top with some lacing on the glass sides.

Smell light, crisp pilsner malt, light sweetness, bready, light crisp hops.

Taste really showcases the helles character - malt, sweet, bread, crisp hops.

Mouthfeel is a little lower in carbonation, moderate sweetness, crisp hops, linger crisp/light sweetness.

Overall a nice Helles style lager - sweeter flavor with a crisp and easy drinking presence.

16 oz can. Pours light golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of bready malt and grassy hops. Body is light and slightly crisp. Bready malt, grain and grassy hops nicely balanced on the palate. Finish is medium and semi-dry. Nice session brew.

Decent Helles but way too bridled for this palette. Very thin, classic Helles. Quaffable, yet not what i would consider memorable. I'll stick with CMCB's Slways ready IPA...solid.

Pours a light straw color and it is relatively clear with a slight haze. Mostly chill haze because it did clear up more, not to the point of crystal clear but damn close. The head didn’t last too long but settle to a thin layer of creamy off white.

Aroma to me at first was lightly floral but to better describe it...A very pleasant aroma, all the fresh air smells you get when the weather warms and all the green starts coming back to life.

Taste is hard for me on this one because it’s such a subtle beer, in a good way. All the flavors meld together and it’s just so light and easy drinking but I’ll try. I still get that floralness just more subtle now and it warms there is some subtle sweet to it. It doesn’t taste like white grapes, but it reminds me of them. That refreshing subtle sweetness they have.

Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, and super clean, it really hits all the spots. It also has a very subtle bitterness.
