Our use of Superior Pale Malt results in a bready and bisquit malt flavors. Delta, Ahtanum, and Eureka hops set the stage for spicy citrus and floral hop aromatics.

Very good mix of happiness and smoothness. Love how the hop flavor sticks to you afterward. I think maybe a slight taste of lemon on top of pine? Either way very good IPA!

With the growing thirst for hops in the Florida panhandle, Grayton strikes gold with this Eureka! hop dominant IPA that's sure to meet the hoppy needs of vacationers and residents alike.
Fish Whistle comes with a classic deep amber, nearly copper hue with a creamy white froth adorning the rim. A fruit filled aroma of citrus also share a peppery hop scent, firm herbal scents and a toasty malt scent to tie it all together. Sweet and slightly more robust in its early taste, a nutty, toasty and caramel-dipped taste is suggestive of granola.
As the ale swirls on the middle palate, the malt sweetness fades but its toastier, nuttier edges remain in order to greet the Eureka! hops that open up with a bold orange, grapefruit and lighter lemon contribution. Seeming tea-like with a fruity flavor, Hints of stone fruit come in late as the hops develop a peppery resinous bitterness to balance the remaining malt impressions and to take a bitter lead when closing.
Medium bodied and finishing on a drying track, the classic American IPA has an update with these new hops for a unique identity that hinges on lemon accented sun tea with a peppery aftertaste.

I tried this at the pub just of A30 near Grayton beach. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent included pine and citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent. beer.

Pours a golden amber with a nice 2 finger head. It paints beautiful lace on the sides of the glass as it recedes. Smell is citrus, pine and caramel. Taste is similar with more intense pine. Astringent and bitter deep into the aftertaste the mouthfeel is fulsome, moderately bodied with high-moderate carbonation.

Poured into a pint glass. A crystal clear amber color with a modest white head. Average foam retention. A somewhat muted aroma with tropical fruit, berries, orange, and grapefruit. Taste followed. All of the above flavors were there, and the bitterness was moderate on the pallet and sharper on the finish. Medium bodied. To me, this felt like a hybrid New England style IPA in the flavor department but it was constructed as a West Coast IPA.

Pours a clear Amber, not particularly hoppy, rather smooth instead. So if you are looking for a hoppy IPA this will disappoint. It's not a bad beer - just not expected.

I'm on an IPA kick right now. I found this beer palatable but to many mixed flavors. I didn't waste any of the 6 pack though.

overall a fine but not exceptional ipa. checks off the boxes and doesn’t do anything to set itself apart. i always award extra points for 6%+ abv but i don’t see this as something i’ll seek out again.
