The beer comes in a hazy light orange.
The aroma is very sour of lemons, almost like a Belgian gueuze. Apricots, fruits. Lots of horseblanket and hay funk.
The flavor follows as that strong tartness digs to the back of your cheeks. Lots of lemon, then a touch of apricot and stone fruit, pluot. A touch of apple vinegar. Some wet hay and funk. A great barrel drying in the back.
A great American sour. A fantastic beer!

Best beer made in Alabama by miles! Perfect level of sour to balance out the nice funk donated by all the bugs in the barrel.

Appearance is a golden orange with little carbonation.
aroma is sweet, apples and pears. Very oaky.
taste is sweet and tart with a huge buttery finish.
This has to be aged in chardonnay barrels.
mouthfeel is medium and just a very buttery rich finish.
Lots of brown butter and oak.
the flavors are a little off but this buttery finish is like nothing I've ever tasted.
Can't wait to get a carbonated bottle.
