Pours a clear light yellow golden color with white head. Citrus, floral notes, and just a slim bit of pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light to medium bodied. Finishes with more citrus.

L- Pours a dark amberish hazy color. Very bubbly. Big thick head that dissipates very quickly.
S- Very citrusy/floral. I get notes of grapefruit. Slight boozy smell that balances behind it.
T- It has a great floral/grapefruit flavor that you'd get with many IPA's. Very bitter after the first sip, but the second seems to be less harsh on the taste buds.
F- It's hazy, so it's fairly thick. It's also fairly carbonated.
O- Exceptional IPA. I've had this once at avondale, and this time I got it at home in Mobile. I would definitely try it. Birmingham knows whats up.

Before having this beer, I was told about what to expect. It met those expectations dead on. While I do not drink a lot of IPAs, I do enjoy them from time to time.

Drinking this beer is very much like eating a grapefruit without much sugar. Tart, sour and acidic. That is how it is brewed to taste. If that is your kind of beer, this one is for you. I found it refreshing on a warm summer night outdoors.

This is the best IPA in the state of Alabama. Although I would have liked a little more grassier flavor to it.

12 ounce can poured into a snifter. No canned on date unfortunately.

Cloudy gold and amber body. Frothy and sudsy pale white head. Shows good persistence. 4.5

Very nice nose here. Mosaic? Cuz I'm getting all types of melon and mango and passionfruit. Fruity for sure. Sweet fruitiness with a touch of malt and pine and floral qualities. Outstanding aroma. 4.5

Damn! This tastes a bit dated, but there's some great potential here. Melon and mango meet a biscuity, toasted malt flavor and floral bitter flavor. Lemony flavors emerge with some warmth. I'm enjoying these flavors aside from feeling a tad roasted malt heavy. 4

There's a good amount of juiciness, mellow bitterness, medium but light body and a refreshing quality. A bit of toasted malt feel and zest are a bit distracting from the smoothness, but otherwise this beer is great. 3.75

A pleasant surprise. I'm a fan. Glad I have one more can.
