Simmzy’s in Manhattan Beach.
Poured a golden somewhat hazy yellow with decent head that left some good lacing.
Aroma was piney and dank Some malt as well.
The taste was west coast IPA citrus, dank, malty and bitter with a semi-dry finish.
The mouthfeel was good carbonation with a dry finish.
Overall a nice West Coast IPA.

Canned 10/26/20; Drank 1/20/21
Look: Pours a dee, darkish orange with a decent heard
Smell/Taste: The aroma was mostly unremarkable. Was expecting a bit more fruity, but had kind of a dry citrus, almost tart-like quality. Definitely on the more bitter, resiney side of IPAs.
Feel: Moderate carbonation. Had a nice ling, crisp finish.
Overall: I would call this your classic west coast IPA, but nothing I got overly excited about.

Decent IPA, stays true to older style IPAs (more WC than NE). Its good but kinda plain. If I was at a friend's BBQ that had this beer id be stoked but if I had my pick out of any IPA, it would be low on the list. Don't get me wrong, it is good. So give it a try.

Top notch modern WC IPA right here. Assertive bitterness complimented by softer hop notes and a malt body that just balances that dry bitter pithy main note.
Brilliant clear golden beer with a sturdy white foam head.
Nose is bright and unique with notes of honeydew and papaya over top of typical citrus and pine hints.
Taste has an assertive dry bitterness like grapefruit pith front and center. Softer floral and creamy fruit notes play more along the edges
Perfect body, full and crisp

16 oz can bought from room temp shelf at Trader Joes on about 11/14/20 Can dated 9/10/20. Beautiful white head about 3 fingers high in a tall tulip glass. Barely there haze. Decent lacing. Smell and taste match the "Mosaic hop" description. Smooth mouthfeel. I'm just not overly excited about this one and trying to not let my antipathy for Mosaic hops influence my judgement too much. Maybe fresher would be better.

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 6-5-20 for $3.24. Canned on 5-20-20; consumed 8-20-20.
Beer poured golden with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is floral hops with a touch of citrus.
Taste is old school WCIPA. Clean medium malt base sets up the showcase of hops which come across as grapefruit and gooseberry. Finishes with a nice abrasive pine and rind bitterness; 9/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and both smooth and refreshing.
Overall a really enjoyable WCIPA at a pretty nice price!

16 oz can from Lifesource Natural grocery in Salem OR.
$3.29
I see this is 2.5 months old..lets see if it hold up.
Pours a clear golden colour with a good sized thick and frothy white head.
'Still has plentiful hop aromas at least..citrus..lemon zest, pink grapefruit..slight floral hints.
Taste is similar but seems to be fading with age..its still nice but has that faded taste you get with older IPA.
Mouth feel is medium with medium to low carbonation..its OK. Long lasting bitter finish.
A nice IPA..like to taste fresh

Look: Clear golden yellow and my fast pour brings on a nice, full head that pulls back leaving good lacing
Aroma: Pine and dank hit hard and then sweet blueberry joins in, along with some tropical fruit and citrus. Some sweet malt in the backdrop as well. If I was a betting man, to my palate, this has to have Mosaic hops in it – awesome nose overall
Taste: Slight citrus and dank again fly out of the gate and that dang (but welcome) blueberry note again dances around the palate. Tropical fruit and sweet bready malt rounds things out before a nice bite leads to a semi-dry finish
Mouthfeel: Big and flavorful and the good carbonation (medium), hop bite, and slightly dry finish keeps things quenching
Overall: I’m loving this one right now and it’s just as good as the one I had last night on a more fatigued palate. I’ve only had a couple brews from these folks but have been impressed by both enough to try more and would definitely purchase this tasty IPA again. Personally, I wish more [IPA-centered] brewers would use Mosaic in a non-hazy IPA as it is one of my favorite hops and I think really shines in this beer especially and in WCIPA’s in general. Awesome stuff here

Can purchased at Acme Bar and Pizza in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like marijuana, grassy hops, grapefruit peel, blueberry, and orange.
This comes across a just a touch boozy, but it's otherwise solid enough for me. There's the obvious Mosaic berry character, along with weed and fresh cut grass, with some light malt character. I also get some bitter grapefruit type character.
This is light bodied, crisp, and pretty bitter on the back end. It's decently drinkable.
This is nothing to go out of your way for, but it's a solid enough stab at the style.

Cranking out the July 2016 reviews lately, this one is from the 9th, its the older label with the tower in the middle.
Has a golden appearance that leans towards light amber with a white head 1/2" deep. Aroma hits that familiar Mosaic dank tropical fruit familiarity.
Taste is pretty similar to their hop tanker. Lightly pale toasted malt, neutral yeast, this is also all about the hops. Mosaic keeps pushing that lush papaya and guava edge with a little bit of weed. Good dry back end from the pale toasted barley, crisp level of carbonation all over it. Doesn't drop any of that caramel thick stickiness, keeps it light and crisp. Alcohol is restrained even if slightly elevated on the top end for style. The bitterness I would guess clocks in around 65 ibu. If I didn't know this was 100% Mosaic I would think it was dry hopped Mosaic but used Simcoe for bittering. Either way, another winner from El Segundo.

I bought this because I thought the Broken Skull IPA was awesome and this one is on par. Pretty similar to Broken Skull but definitely different flavor characteristics. This brewery knows how to make a really solid IPA in the style I like. yp

16oz can dated 2/10/20.
Pours clear yellow with an inch of white head. Moderate retention and lacing. A bit dank and garlicky in the nose with chaulky pine following through. Medium bodied with a crisp, slightly tacky mouthfeel. Pine and grapefruit with a touch of sweet malt in the palate. Finishes crisp and bitter.

Did Fred Flinstone work at the rock quarry? I think so. Well, if he brewed a beer, it would be Mayberry because this one is rock solid. Yeah, Mayberry is SoCal like a quesadilla for lunch and a mission burrito for dinner. Wow. Thank you. Thank you El Segundo for this beautiful West Side IPA that would make Tupac proud.
